Found this tea place on our day out, and I was totally bowled by the options they have. A huge menu to choose from. I was visiting from Toronto, and finding masala chai in Vancouver was the best thing that could happen. The girl at the tea counter,I wish I could see her name tag, suggested to try masala chai. I wanted authentic masala chai , and she gave me a siliguri chai. Despite being busy and alone, she made sure I got what I wanted.

A true delight for tea lovers, I ordered a masala chai and I loved it, very creamy, balanced and at a good price. They have a wide variety of teas and they put teapots for free tasting, you can use all of them and as many times as you want. Highly recommended.Without a doubt it is a place to which I will return.

Was surprised to find such a cozy tea shop in a bustling market and left with a couple teas! They have a ton of teas on shelves and it feels a bit like a library with the ladder in the back. The person helping me choose teas offered me a free tea since I hadn’t been to Vancouver before! I told him to surprise me and he had a masala chai with a bunch of spices made for me. It was delicious and the rest of the staff were friendly too. They also have teas brewed with cups on the side for you to pour and try. Would recommend checking it out!

This is hands down my favorite tea place. I was new to loose leaf tea, then I came to Granville and now I am obsessed. Everyone has always been so kind and helpful. I love the look of the place reminds me of the bookshop in beauty and the beast. It’s just such a dreamy place. I love that I can smell the teas before I purchase and grab a cup to go. I also have to give a huge shout out to Meth. Every recommendation he has ever given me has been spot on. I live in the states and frequently bring back endless amounts of tea!

As someone who doesn’t drink tea, and shops here relying on the expertise of the staff to help me pick out gifts for tea drinkers - I can say something big must have changed behind the scenes recently. For a decade I would shop here and the staff would do an incredible job, you could tell they were extremely knowledgeable and even passionate about tea. For the last year or so I’ll see specific staff standing around texting, or just busy themselves with labelling bags when there are customers staring confusedly at menus. After I’d ask for help, it would be clear they didn’t have the knowledge, or the care, to bother. Sometimes I’ll ask for recommendations and the staff will just call someone (on the phone) and ask them. The overall attitude of the staff, at least the ones I’ve talked to recently is “I’m just a cashier at a tea place” and not the expected “friendly expertise” normally seen here. My last time here after buying several bags of different flavours, I noticed the bags weren’t even labelled, when I asked if I could have them labelled (like normal) she said they were labelled, i then lifted the first bag and it was blank. I then lifted the next bag and it was written with a sharpie - black sharpie on very dark blue bag. Really? She then realized that at the very least the first bag didn’t have a label… and just wrote on the bag too. I understand not really caring about your job, but this borders on comedy. Is this a joke?Maybe that’s just 2023, they were forced to hire someone and people of this level are all that are applying, or maybe my standard was just set to high from the previous years of excellent service. Either way, shopping here is painful, when it used to be fun.

They have very extensive selection of teas, and I like their matcha. Service is bit slow and be prepared to wait for 15-25 minutes, probably down with staffs.

This is a coffee and tea shop located inside Granville Public Market. They specialize in various brewed teas and coffees. Their menu is quite extensive and they have so many options outside of the standard brews. I ordered the matcha chai latte with oak milk. It was delicious! The large size was only 50 cents more. It was the perfect balance of sweet from the matcha and spice from the chai. I would definitely come back here for matcha chai!

the people working were very kind and hospitable. they offered to get what we were after from the office as they were out of stock on the floor.the selection of teas was vast and I’m sure you could find exactly what you’re after here. the only feedback I have is I think there’s an opportunity to be better organized which would increase the clients experience.

This place is a gem! The folks at the counter are courteous, patient and a delight to talk to. Gigi helped me find some teas to give as gifts. She was so patient with my requests to change the portions or teas, and on top of that offered a tea on the house! The teas here are also absolutely fantastic! I’m definitely going to visit them regularly. Highly recommended!
