Went here with my girlfriend and it looks like a great place. BUT we get a table and a trans person sits next to us and starts changing in front if us. (Staff are cool with it) and we can see their underwear. We move tables to the front and there is an old man that dances in the front solo ruining the performance because its so distracting to see someone flinging themselves around while trying to watch smooth jazz. (Staff says he comes everyday)

We had never been here before. Arrived at 9:15 and paid the cover charge of $15 per person. The host assured us we would get a table since people were leaving... anyway we went inside and it was clear there were no tables and it wasn't really possible to get near the bar. The next act wasn't coming on until 10PM. It would have been nice if the host told us more honestly what was happening because we left after 5 minutes and wasted money going in.

Before the cover fee was by donations but now they charge $8 so there's a big drop in audience since then. Every time I go a new fee policy pops up.

One of my favorite bars in Gas Town now, went for the first time a few weeks ago. They always have live music. Every day: $8 before 8pm
Sundays through Thursdays: $12, 8pm onward
Fridays & Saturdays: $15, 8pm onward. Service was great, staff are friendly and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Robin and Matthew are awesome! They were super friendly and made our drinks so fast. They handled so many orders at once and yet they still served every customer with so much care.
Moreover, the drinks are delicious and they accommodated special requests very well.

Great live music, good staff & delicious drinks!

I love coming to see live music here. The bands are often very talented and the price is super reasonable ($15 per performance as of Jan. 2026). It’s a popular spot and always busy on Fridays and Saturdays, I’ve never managed to get a table. The cave-like ambiance is very inviting and it attracts a great mixed crowd which makes for fun dancing. The only improvement I’d suggest is having more servers on the floor, the bar gets understandably busy and it can be hard to order.

Great time Dec 29th, Bonnie and Friends. The place was packed. Awesome musicians, Jazz night. Dancing was great until the last set. Young ladies flaunting themselves, smelling of horrid e cigarettes, drinks on the dance floor. Great place for live music.

One of my favorite bars in Gas Town. They always have live music. $12 cover charge. Local white wines that my wife likes. 33 Hazy IPA that I thought was not bad. If no tables are available there are usually seats at the bar.

This is my absolute favourite place to come to for music, soul and creative inspiration. The staff are super friendly, and I'd like to give particular thanks to Freya for her welcoming, genuine, always helpful demeanor. She's always accommodating my needs, and it makes such a difference.

The vibe here is exceptional, and the musicians take me to a whole other place energetically. I can't wait to be ringing in 2026 here, and to hear the amazing NaRai again! Whoohoo! Happy New Year everyone!
