Never tried Nepalese or Tibetan food before and was presently surprised. Had 4 entrees and rice to share and all tasted really great. Service was fantastic and we ate out the back on the patio surrounded by plants. Great value for money too. Unfortunately, it was our last day in Vancouver, wished we had been before during our stay.
Although not many customers it seemed understaffed. Would have liked more recommendations for food and more insight into the menu as it was the first time there. Otherwise the food was very tasty!
Went there for Dine Out Vancouver on a Sunday evening, the food was OK. It took over 1 hour to get the food and the service was extremely slow. To their defence the place was full when we went, but as it started emptying out the service was still super slow. It looked like the waiters were overworked and overwhelmed, and the kitchen was over capacity. The waitress was super polite, but when you have to wait 1 hour to get your appetizer and another 25min to get your main, no amount of sorry makes you feel better about it. The taste of the food itself was hit and miss, with the lamb dish being very chewy, while the fish curry & momo's being good and tasty. On a weird note, every plate we got was ICE cold, its like they wash them with ice water and then put the food on? This was super confusing as it makes your food go cold. I would not come back or recommend it to a friend based on our experience.
Was excited to try the dine-out menu. But never got a chance to because the manager refused to seat us. We arrived on time for our reservation, and we were told to wait 20 minutes before a table was free. We were a little surprised and annoyed, but we waited since we were excited to try the food. However, when the 20 minutes were up, they still couldn't seat us, and told us that someone else took the table. The manager refused to take any accountability, and didn't have the decency to apologise either. He kept throwing excuses at us, telling us that "we have a 10 min prediction window, tell me what I can do?". Well, you could have started off my apologising, and take accountability for the mess that was created with our reservation. We were on time, but we weren't seated, and even after telling us to wait that long, you decide to give our seat to a random person? It's a shame because we were looking forward to trying out this place for a week.
It was my first time having Himalayan food. My first impression was it was kind of fusion between Indian and Chinese cuisine - an interesting combination to say the least.
We ordered a few momo which is like Chinese dumplings. We also ordered, as per recommendation, a few small plates of goat meat curry, yogurt, soup coupled with coconut rice and naan 🫓. Very similar to Indian cuisine and the goat meat curry was super delicious.
Overall it is definitely a culinary adventure into the mountains of Naples!

Delicious momos and thukpa soup, with a cozy atmosphere.
Note: I was compensated with a complimentary dessert for this 5 star review.

We made a booking for 17 people on Christmas Day for a late lunch. Even though we arrived early , the restaurant accommodated us, which we appreciated.
For starters, we ordered chatpate. It was decent—not great but not terrible either. Considering we are far from home, we didn’t expect it to match the authentic Nepali taste exactly, but it lacked the essence of a proper chatpate.
The main course, however, was a big letdown. We ordered khana sets, and the experience was far from what one would expect from a Nepali restaurant. The plating was okay at best, but the taste was completely missing. The mutton curry tasted like it was just boiled without any proper seasoning or flavor, and the chicken curry was similarly bland. For a restaurant branding itself as Nepali, this was disappointing.
On a positive note, the service was good. Bhuwan (I hope I got the name right) made an effort to ensure we had a good experience, and his hospitality was commendable.
If you're looking for an authentic Nepali taste, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. While the service was good, the food did not meet expectations, especially for those familiar with Nepali flavors.

I was brought here by a friend from Nepal.
Chowmein was like Japanese fried noodles, spicy but delicious. The Japanese gyoza-like thing called Momo came with three sauces: sarancho, garlic and tomato, and chili. The chili was a little spicy for me, but the garlic and tomato was mild and delicious!
Our server, Suvham, was very kind and had a great smile, which was great!

I was bribed with free desert in return for 5 star review by the waitress, and that is probably how they have high ratings . That is unfortunate!
However, the restaurant is decent with warm ambiance and very friendly service.
There are a good number of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. The food is reasonable with high-quality ingredients, but the flavor lacks something. We had the Momos dumbellinds, the yellow lentil, and the tingmo bread. They were ok but have a bland flavor.
The desert (that I paid for) and Himalayan tea were excellent 👌
