Best tonkatsu Ramen I've ever had. Broth is absolutely delicious. Place gets packed pretty quick within 10 minutes for opening for lunch. Not to mention the Awesome service. Most importantly, for such prime location, price is ridiculously low. 2 people can have a big bowl and share an order of gyoza (a must try) for around $40. Also must try the gyoza !

Always on the hunt for a good bowl of ramen, we stopped in for lunch and had the Tonkatsu ramen and the Tantanmen ramen bowls. Both were delicious, and the cha shu in the Tonkatsu bowl was super generous, very tender and rich tasting...the best cha shu I have ever had! Note that they also offer a complete suite of vegetarian ramen bowls and sides. Service was cheerful and attentive, and the dishes were served swiftly. A great experience, and we'll be back! I did find the interior a bit dark and dingy, just needs a good updating and some booths for a bit of privacy. Give this place a try, well worth it.

Kits locals, you've got a treasure tucked away in our vibrant neighborhood!Gyo Para Gyoza & Ramen Bar is where your search for soul-warming, authentic Japanese ramen ends. This isn't just a meal; it's an experience that starts with the first waft of their aromatic broth. The ramen bowls here are a masterpiece, with a rich, umami-packed broth that clings to each noodle like a dream. The gyoza? Let's just say these little parcels of joy are crispy on the outside, incredibly tender on the inside, and could very well be your new addiction. Whether it's a rainy Vancouver day or a casual dinner out, Gyo Para is the spot where locals can slurp, savor, and enjoy a taste of Japan right here in the heart of Kits.

So So… Tried the Shio ramen, the broth was a bit on the light side for my liking. Noodles were chewy and did take up the broth nicely. May come again to try other ramen to evaluate, as friend highly recommended it.

The waitress was very rude to us. They made us wait outside in the cold even though they were just cleaning up the table. Afterwards, we asked for water and she said that she can only give us when we order even though we were literally ordering. When other parties came in, she served them water even though they didnt order. She was super not welcoming and unfriendly. Did not have a good experience. Will not go again.

Great selection, however the vegetarian broth was kinda missing some sweetness to balance it out.

They don’t take phone in orders. They don’t answer the phone and there is no message advising you that they don’t take phone in orders. Ordering on their website is not user-friendly and asks for a lot of information before allowing you to order. The service staff are rude. The general impression is because they are so busy they’re not that interested in customer service.

We ordered the shio and miso ramen but both broths tasted so bland with hardly any flavor, tasted like mildly salted water with oil and noodles. Gyoza were plump and juicy and the highlight of the meal. Waitress was rude and impatient as well. Not sure if we just ordered the wrong thing and should’ve went for the premium tonkatsu ramen, MIGHT be back.

Good as always. Broth is a bit salty for me, but my wife just says I'm fussy...
