Everything we ordered was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming here more often. Small intimate and quaint. Maybe it's best to not tell everyone otherwise it'll be difficult to get a table.

Really good, authentic Japanese cuisine. The service however was mediocre - servers were unattentive and difficult to flag down (we just wanted to order more food, refill tea, etc!). I would love to give these folks more business, but the poor service just made it a difficult experience for our guests of honour - we were a little embarrassed for bringing them here. I hope things improve one day, the chef knows his / her craft very well.

This place should have line ups out the door. It really is a hidden gem. Photo is the seafood tempura teishoku. One of the few places to be able to get teishoku in vancouver, this place is high on my list. Just reminds me of Japan, especially when all people eating here are all Japanese too. Lunch specials can be as cheap as $17. You can get that price these days elsewhere for a full set meal.
