This Vietnamese restaurant has become my kids favorite pho place. Food, service and atmosphere are all excellent, not to mention the rare kids meals.

The canh chua (Vietnamese hot & sour soup) is excellent here – the broth is perfectly balanced between sweet and sour, with fresh pineapple, tomatoes, and fish. It goes so well with rice. The bo luc lac (shaking beef) is tender, flavorful, and stir-fried just right with vegetables. The restaurant is clean, airy, and the staff are friendly. Definitely worth coming back!

Ordered on door dash for delivery. Got the bun mam, and it sucked. Tasted and LOOKED like pho broth with a bunch of fish sauce. Skimpy portion on the fish as well. Please take it off your menu if you don't know how to make it lol.

This used to be one of my regular spots when Hai Phong was looking a bit run down but the food was always solid. I hadn’t been back in a while and last week I was surprised to see the place has been fully renovated. It looks like the neighbourhood is moving on up.

Their bun cha is great and the pho broth has all the depth you want. I also tried their banh hoi thit nuong and it was pretty good with light noodles, well-seasoned pork and plenty of fresh herbs. My only gripe is that the portions feel noticeably smaller than before while prices have crept up. I get that inflation is real but I’m not a fan of shrinkflation.

Service was friendly and bowls arrive hot without any rush.

Overall the place still does the classics right but now has a fresh look. If you don’t mind slightly smaller portions and a bit higher price for top-quality flavours it’s well worth a visit.

Thrilled to have finally discovered an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that serves all my favorite dishes! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was impeccable. My top picks were the Canh Chua (sweet and sour soup) and Com Bo Luc Lac (stir-fried tenderloin diced beef). I highly recommend their avocado smoothie - perfectly sweet and refreshingly cool on a hot summer day!

I have been looking for authentic home-cooked Vietnamese dishes for a while and am so happy to know they literally have every classic or special dish you could crave here. The hot and sour soup hotpot is the best I’ve had and the braised Vietnamese pork and fish brought me down memory lane! Everything is so flavorful and fresh, and you can tell it’s because of the ingredients and not msg. I am also a huge fan of their crispy Bánh xèo and was enamored by all the fresh herbs they had like fish mint. Their portions are perfect for family style sharing or to dine in for one. I’m also craving their avocado smoothie again which I haven’t had since I’ve been to Saigon.

Bonus points for the vibrant ambiance and comfy seating...and not to mention kind & efficient staff! They are absolute pros here.

Ordered the banh xeo and bun rieu cha ca. Banh xeo is a large dish and very tasty although not a lot of shrimp and pork inside so mostly tasting the crepe.

Bun rieu cha ca was very flavourful and filling. I would come back for this noodle soup.

Restaurant itself is spacious and great for those with kids as there was a kids menu, high chairs, change tables, and the washroom was clean.
