Hai Phong has been me and my family's favorite Vietnamese restaurant for years! Our dining experience here has always been exceptional. The last time we visited, we had the Vietnamese hot and sour soup. The soup arrived piping hot, bursting with flavor, and impeccably seasoned to our liking. This is a must try! My other favorites are their tamarind crab (pre-order only), their BBH, and their bun; but you cannot go wrong with anything here!A side of the wings and the banh khot complemented our meal flawlessly, offering just the right amount of crunch to enhance the overall dining experience. Notably, the attentive customer service from the moment we entered the establishment added an extra layer of satisfaction, especially considering the bustling atmosphere.Following a recent renovation, they now boast a refreshed ambiance that exudes both modernity and cleanliness - so perfect for your social media posts lolAs a parent, I find great comfort in bringing my young children to dine here, knowing that they will not only enjoy the delectable rice dishes (their favorite) but also appreciate the pristine surroundings. Furthermore, the ample parking available upfront adds convenience to the overall dining experience, making it effortlessly accessible for families and diners alike!

Hai Phong is a place I've been many times before their renovation, unfortunately stop dinning there because of the food quality. Decide to have to Friday night date. ORDERED $190 FOR 2 PEOPLE. Just to give it a fair chance and review all their popularitems and dinner combos. Needless to say I won't be back due to many reasons. Lack of Quality and service is still a huge issue. And also seeing the bill getting changed $28 for shredded pork on rice with old spoiled meat pie was the nail in the coffin that unfortunately says I will not be back definitely at all to Hai Phong a great restaurant maybe a decade ago. Unfortunately their reno probably isn't gonna bring the type business they expect. As you walk in the doors it still a reminder of the same old place. Just with some lip stick and mascara. I was pretty disappointed. However my lady enjoyed the Ganh Chu^ Tom and watercress salad. HAPPY eating ?

Ordered takeout on Uber. Wanted to try Hai Phong again as it used to be very good back in the day. Lemongrass chicken and pork on rice had burnt pork&chicken skin with small portion of meat, rice wasn’t even fully cooked. Vermicelli with pork skewers was also partly burned with small portion of meat. Extremely dissatisfied for a reputable Vietnamese restaurant, will no longer recommend to family/friends.

The dish I had here was bomb!!! It took awhile for the food to come out but it was worth it. So good! And I love interactive food. So making mini lettuce wraps to eat this was the best! The service was good our waitress even asked us if we knew how to eat this and she explained it to us. They even provided hand sanitizer to clean our hands before handling our food. I would def come back just to eat this again.

Especially now since they’ve renovated since last time I was here decade ago lol. For a viet place, quite modern and chic with its beige chairs and granite-like tables lol.The spicy fish is my go to: so flavourful, amazing over bowl of rice with its delicious sauce.Friendly service, servers speak perfect English. And credit cards accepted too!

??Shaken beef:the beef cubes were p tender, the dish had 锅气 (smoky flavor that comes from pan-frying) that I enjoyed a lot. I ordered delivery so by the time I dipped into it it lukewarm, to prevent the beef from overcooking I didn’t reheat, even this didn’t prevent me from enjoying it, I believe it would be heavenly if dine in. It was my first time had raw watercress, i poured the sauce on top without adding the oil that came along since I didn’t want my salad to be drenched in oil. It turned out super good, paired so well with the beef, gave the dish a very refreshing taste overall. ?Vietnamese braised prawns: I saw many people recommend the braised fish but I don’t eat basa so I thought their prawns would be nice too. But it was quite disappointing. They were not really prawns but shrimps, the sauce was nothing special just like the sweet and salty taste that even I can make.

Family restaurant and they have been updating inside so it’s more modern and comfortable. Super friendly staff! Excellent food with reasonable prices. Plenty of parking on the street and in the strip mall parking.
