Happy Day Cafe is always a great place to get a HK style breakfast at a decent price - make sure you get the combos and it will fill you up for the day.
They’re super busy, so expect a bit of a wait unless you get there early. The staff is also always busy, running around, making sure food is served.
Overall, the food is decent, the portions are big, and the price is good. They only take cash or debit, so be prepared.

For what they serve, its too pricey. Always found either bugs or something inside the noodle soup. The chef are too sloppy.

First time her for dinner. It’s a little bit pricey but the portions are huge. We couldn’t even finish 1/2 of it. Fried rice was good, green bean beef good and chow mein was also very good with crispy noodles except the vegetable wasn’t good.
Overall decent quality.

When we walked in, the place was super smoky, so the vibe was kinda ruined right away for my brother’s birthday. We were really looking forward to the butter pineapple bun, but it wasn’t fresh compared to the other stores in Richmond. The soy sauce fried noodles were pretty bland, like the chef forgot the salt. We mentioned it to the cashier when we paid, and she said that next time we can request the chef to add more salt or soy source to the same dish. Honestly foodcourt does a better job.

Large portions of cheap food. Not bad, but not enticing either.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The kids wanted to leave immediately. The food was not good. In fact, I made us sick. I definitely will not be coming back.

Came here on a Sunday lunch, able to get a spot because we were willing to share a table. Foods comes great and is very tasty. I ordered the Portuguese baked chicken on rice. Delicious and will be coming back again!

Excellent food and great value.
The crab and or lobster combos is a must try and offer a tremendous deal. Comes w tasty pork mellon soup and nice sweet dessert soup as well.
Looking forward to visiting again.

Taste good, fair price.
Food and HK style drinks were really good. I enjoyed the crispy top bun with butter and the french toast. I appreciate the attention to cleanliness, but there was a strong smell of bleach the entire hour we were there.
