The owner bought me a glass of wine and said it was on the house. Then he tried getting all gay with me with so my group left. That’s cool I just don’t swing that way. Good wine.

I love everything every time I frequent this restaurant. It is a bummer it’s no longer veggie BUT they still have the BEST vegan breakfasts - their vegan pancakes are unbeatable - u will have never had pancakes like these. They eggs Benny with mushrooms and truffle oil is so flavourful and delicious (in photo - it got tossed around). It’s pricey BUT this restaurant makes food better than we do and that is very very rare these days. It’s not cheap/fast and bland like many other restaurants these days. Thank you for keeping vegan options
Review update: The new direction is toxic towards the Vegan community. The food is decent, but my money won't go towards a direction that openly insults, taunt and troll clients. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-10
What great food! Vegan options are limited but excellent. All meals were nicely prepared and good to the pallet. I highly recommend this place and will come here again.

Terrible service and atmosphere. Rude to customers. Just look at the way they respond to reviews. The owners are honestly digging their own grave.

Had a very enjoyable lunch here with my wife. It had been ages since we'd been here. Nice to be reminded of how beautiful that space is. Service from Gus Jr. was great. Natural and relaxed, as if you've known him for years. My wife had a benedict and the hollandaise was so so good. I myself had a falafel bowl which was great. We'll be back here for sure!

Abysmal treatment of former regular customers since changing their menu over. Used to love this spot - but after seeing how little they value their customers, and complete absence of professionalism when addressing guest concerns I can no longer support Heirloom. Disappointing.

Raced over to Heirloom when we heard it was closing. Since the one in West Vancouver closed, we've been glad this spot was still operating. Shared our favorites: Kale Caesar salad with cornbread croutons and beet chips, artichoke tacos and yam fries. We were happy to hear the new owners plan to include some of the same menu items, with focus on dinner. We don't eat meat, but not put off by the recent menu additions. Love the building, went for years when it housed Primo's. Will try the new place.

The new menu is wonderful. Great job to everyone over at Heirloom. The changes have gone over nicely. The pandemic wasn’t easy on any restaurant and it is nice to see folks doing their best. Keep it up!

yall made no apologies to the vegans/vegetarians who have kept your place going for so long, threw your ethics out the window, and are proudly burning more bridges with your catty little clapbacks! way to drive your restaurant into the ground guys- can’t wait till you’re closed and done with!- a past satisfied customer who now doesn’t respect you xx

I have no issue to Heirloom changing their menu & serving meat if they want to, just change the outside sign on the establishment to reflect it is not a vegetarian restaurant.
