Ate here three days in a row after staying at a hotel nearby. Their breakfast burrito and avocado toast are so delicious. Their coffee is good as well. Reasonable prices and quality ingredients. Friendly service too.
I would suggest you update the hours on Google maps because I notice it mentioned shop is “closed” on several days of the week even though, thankfully, still open when I drop by.

I stopped off at Helka Cafe for an early breakfast one morning recently, and had a very enjoyable visit. The food was great, the coffee was absolutely amazing and the staff were friendly. I thought for the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable too.
I’d certainly recommend a visit if you’re looking for a delicious breakfast!

Unassuming little cafe, but the food blew me away. I had the [Montreal] Beef and Cheese breakfast wrap, and every bite was a delight. The avocado toast was excellent as well. I look forward to returning!
This is my go to coffee spot in the west end. The drinks are always good, the breakfast wraps are awesome, and the ownership and staff are always super friendly and great. Love this spot
