I went to the Hello Kitty Cafe in California and to the one in Las Vegas… and let me tell you, the hello kitty cafe in Vancouver is the WORST!!!! they have a very long wait for a coffee and a waffle. When I got it, it was all cold and bitter. Their menu is also very limited…. Compared to the hello kitty cafe’s in America. I got zebra coffee at the Las Vegas hello kitty location and it was amazing… but the coffee here at this Vancouver location? Terrible. Absolutely terrible. They don’t even have the zebra coffee here.. so annoying. Save your money, go to a Starbucks.
Such a cute space to enjoy. I had low expectations for the bubble tea but the pearls were fresh and it was a solid bubble tea at a regular bubble tea price. Definitely worth it because the packaging was extra cute!
The absolute best cafe in Vancouver. We absolutely love coming back here.
This was awful, drove all the way from mission for my birthday to get undercooked food, watery tea, and in overall wasn't good. Not only that but it gave me food poisoning and completely ruined my birthday. P.s would not recommend or come back in the future.
Absolutely awful
Writing this review because I'm still waiting for my order..... Giving it 1 star. The place is too small, the drinks are too sweet and just full of syrup, waiting for 30 minutes for a waffle and I am still waiting for it...
We drove 2 hours to come to hello kitty cafe for my friends birthday and it was an awful experience. The wait time was horrid, they were serving multiple people who got there like 20 minutes after us, there's barely any options to choose from and it's very pricey. Way too pricey for how everything came out, the tayaki was disgusting cold soggy and not fully cooked. The bubble tea was WAY too sweet and I get bubble tea alot. It was watered down and just god awful, there was also no seating and the merchandise was way too expensive especially for the poor quality. I could get better stuff from the dollarstore. I don't recommend
The cake looked good, however my daughter didn't share. Lol
I love this place for nice pretty every thing for fun but food and drinks just ok.

Great looking cafe. Very detailed for the fans of yellow kitty. Everything was taken into consideration from the garbage cans being themed. Cake wasn’t bad also.

Good location and vibe?
Just ordering time is too slow.
Saw you guys got the kiosk.
Can you start it ASAP? I’ve been used to it while living in Berkeley and Vancouver Downtown.

I love my girlfriend so I brought her here. Drinks are good but too sweet (you can ask for less sweet I’m just stupid). No music.

Very cute, some cute limited edition swag (hello kitty Vancouver), tasty teas and some very cute desserts. Limited upstairs seating (about five tables). Drinks were very tasty and in cute cups, desserts were good (waffle cone was chewy and a little stale tasting but ice cream was good and presentation was adorable). Upstairs seating was limited but cute, but felt like it was missing some music or something (quiet and echoey).
Service was fast and friendly for sure.
Definitely a fun stop, but also check out Artbox nearby for more HK merch.

I had higher expectations for this cafe.
It’s very small, they have only a tiny selection of merchandise.. tote bags, baseball caps, umbrellas & tshirts.
Small selection of over priced drinks and a few small cakes & ice cream.
Hardly any seating and the staff are extremely rude.. constantly staring at you, then I heard the two staff laughing about somebody inside of the washroom..
not worth it at all, very disappointed.
A bubble tea, 1 slice of cake, 1 ice cream and a baseball hat $72
It was underwhelming after all the hype.
It is cute, but super small.
We bought two cakes (Birthday and strawberry) both cakes had a ridiculous amount of a thick whipped butter cream icing, the strawberry cake literally was more icing than cake! The items are overpriced, $40 for these little mostly un-edible cakes. A grocery tote is $20 yet these totes sell in Thailand (exact same ones) for $2!
The coffee was decent, we spoke with others and they said the icecream was good but overpriced.
I personally was stoked to go, even took the daughter out of school on her Birthday, drove close to an hour on a workday to take her for a magical Birthday experience and it was not as magical as expected.
Not worth an effort to go to, but if you are already in the area, then a pop in is recommended.
