I love the experience here. Fun omakaze style and not too expensive. Consideration to every detail. Make sure to try truffle lobster roll. They won’t cut the rolls if you eat in and they only cut the rolls if you take delivery. They have a reason too haha. Just wish you could make a reservation as coming early isn’t a great use of time but there’s usually a seat ready within 20.

This is a gem of a spot for handrolls on Robson. The menu isn't big but everything has been delicious. Clean atmosphere around the bar essentially. Service has been quick and friendly. We usually go for the set menu and add a few items on the side and have not been disappointed. Definitely a convenient spot to go.

The waitress was so lovely and gave wonderful suggestions! I had the avocado roll the truffle lobster roll which was incredible the snow crab roll and the tuna roll. As a tourist I thought that Robson st was a terrific location for their restaurant . I hope u r opening in Toronto !! I heard you are! I will be first in line!

Very friendly staff, no tables just bar seating, limited menu and just too much rice not enough protein but easy place to seat and eat

While I went to washroom after paid the bill, the server cleaned up the table seated other customers and took away my bag from my seat. I came out couldn’t find my belongings …. Only to discover that my bag was sitting on the floor behind the cashier… unbelievable!!!And BE AWARE - 16% tip is mandatory and automatically applied to your bill. This and the poor service made this place a no go ? do not recommend ?

Late night dinner in Vancouver on our last night was nothing but amazing, thank you Nori for a great evening of hand rolls prepared in front of us with lots of care and flavors Fish and veggies were delicious and generous cuts. I ordered the Sakura blossom as a cocktail and I was really impressed but the taste since I don't really drink alcohol this drink was smooth. The place ambiance and decorative is simple and classy ... loved the sculpture in the front. Great service and magnificent food will keep me coming back here for sure!

The food didn't have enough flavor or variety. The rolls were mostly rice and small snack. I didn't like how they forced a 16% tip. Which is adjustable, but it's rude to say anything at the front especially in front of friends. It came to over 70$ for 2 people. I won't be coming back, hell no.

This place is fantastic they serve you every part of your meal at peak enjoyment. The rice is perfectly warm and cooked the seaweed crispy and the fish cold. They also torch some of their handrolls which is fantastic. The unagi and wagyu were like favorites! You can’t go wrong with anything here. The oshi was also amazing. They serve it one by one so everything is at peak temperature/crunchiness

I am so impressed by the hostess Eliska! They were busy as usual during their lunch rush and she handled the room and guests well. She was kind and professional while assisting multiple guests from taking takeout orders, seating guests and also taking payment all on her own. Food as usual is great at Hello Nori.

The food and service was absolutely spectacular, I loved all the hand rolls the chef made and the salmon oshi is the best I’ve had in the city.My peeve was the auto tip. It’s an extremely manipulative tactic that soured my experience at the restaurant. I would’ve willingly tipped the automatic 16%, but the fact that it’s an “optional tip” that is added to the bill by default and you must inform the server of the new tip amount just came of as really shady and a pretty terrible way to get tips from customers

Rolls were deceptively small and overpriced for the quality of fish.Seats were uncomfortable and tight. Especially when it’s dinner time with full house.“Optional gratuity” was automatically applied which felt forceful when servers are not really providing much of a service. Realistically no one is going to refund a pre-applied tip.Overall, would definitely not recommend or return.
