Haven't been here since pre-pandemic times and have to admit, I love their food but didn't enjoy the whole cafeteria order then sit down vibe and it was overcrowded and uncomfortable,so I always got take out. I went this week and thrilled to discover that they've changed to the traditional wait and be seated model. Tables are nicely spaced out, service is super friendly and the food is just as good as I remembered. The still carry my favourite mushroom bowl. Portions are generous and pricing is reasonable for downtown these days with high inflation. There's no feeling of being rushed either. Definitely coming back regularly for meals when I'm in the area!

As 'honger,' I'd dub the BBQ here legit! We came during lunch time. Around 1230. I was expecting a long line up here but surprisingly everyone standing in front are just waiting for take-outs. And the servers were able to get us seated as soon as we stepped in the door. I'd also never expect this place to be authentic or even very good, just based on the location of this establishment, but I am pleasantly surprised. They even have the tradional styled plates. With the little 'rice specks'. I came with a friend and selected the BBQ platter, which comes with BBQ pork (charsiu) , BBQ duck and chicken. All of which are very decent. Honestly, none of them were considered mind blowing. Separately, I've had better elsewhere. But I'd say they are better than 90% of hk BBQ places around greater van. The pork was on the fat side... very tasty, sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. Both the duck and chicken were tender and succulent. It wasn't cheap per se, but then again, these days everything has gone up cause of inflation. So overall I'd say it's rather good bang for the buck. Especially if you crave canton/ style BBQ. I'll definitely be back. Maybe to try out some of the unique things they have next time. Food 9. Service 8. Ambiance 9. Value 8.5

I tried for 20 minutes finding the entrance to your restaurant during this construction before giving up. Hope you're being well compensated!!

Delicious comfort food. I had the individual plate of honey roasted pork over rice, which was a very good-sized portion and nicely plated. It's a different take on roasted pork, not the crispy skin version, but still quite tasty. Homemade chili sauce was also very good. The manager, Thanh (apologies if I misspelled your name!), provided exceptional service in making sure everything was okay. Great dining experience! Highly recommend.

I am so glad this place is an option in Coal Harbour. Small but sufficient space with some fresh eats. A little pricy but the food was really flavourful and fast. I got the CRYSTAL MUSHROOM DUMPLING (3 pcs - steamed). No sauce which surprised me but you DON'T need it at all! So soft and perfect amount of stuffing. Hella good and very filling. I also got their tofu bowl which was not on their menu. Basically a ton of tofu with a spicy sauce on a bed of rice, zucchini, and a perfectly poached egg. Not enough sauce for me but the tofu was incredible!! Huge portions and so much flavour. Really love this option in this area.

Tried this place for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered take out: prawn spring rolls, the XLB and pork on rice and everything was amazing. Nothing was greasy! Super yummy! The prawn spring rolls will keep me coming back!

Not a good experience! We ordered 2 main courses 1 duck 1 chicken The duck dish was half cooked, the toppings around were not tasty at all. The chicken dish came uncooked! We returned the dishes to the waitress immediately, we were shocked that this is the food served. When the bill arrived, The restaurant asked to charge us for both dishes full price, We refused! After a short conversation they said they would give us a 10 percent discount, We also refused! We returned an entire dish to the kitchen and the second dish we barely touched ... in the end we only paid for the drink and the duck dish. Food - very bad, Service - needs improvement, disappointing. 1108 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC

When I came in, the place was very clean. The server was attentive and gave me ample time to decide which dishes I want to get.I got the Char Siu pork belly and the fried wontons. The Char Siu was light and did not overpower; the rice it was resting on has a seasoning that complimented the pork well. Its sides: the kimchi daikon was very pleasant; it was not too overpowering (I usually intensely dislike kimchi; this preparation may have converted me), the seasonal vegetables had the right texture and seasoning and the egg was top notch, full of flavour. The fried wonton was also packed as well. Fried wontons are usually my weakness and this did not disappoint. The filling was greatly seasoned and the wonton proper was fried adequately; I didn't taste an overpowering amount of oil.I hope they stay in business for a long time. My first time here was a smashing success and will frequently visit this place in the future (I hope they get enough business with the major construction going on). 5/5 ?.

Delicious meal, super-nice service, and great music at Heritage Asian Eatery today! I’ve been meaning to try them for a while and glad I finally did. I couldn’t decide what to get so figured I’d order everything and take the rest home. I barely made a dent and was stuffed! Everything was great; particularly enjoyed the duck (great plum sauce too) and the 5-spice dry rubbed wings. The kitchen must have decided I hadn’t ordered enough for one person and sent out complimentary sesame balls too! ?Don’t be daunted by the subway destruction out front! It’s worth a little hassle and I feel for them. As if it’s not hard enough to run a restaurant during COVID without having to deal with the Broadway roadwork. Will be back!

This restaurant was hard to locate with the insane amount of construction on Broadway but it was totally worth the trek. There was one server on a busy Tuesday noon which made the service a little slow but was not too big of a deal. The food was delicious, the duck was fatty and filled with flavour. Usually with rice bowls, the rice can be flavourless but the rice was packed in flavour. The portions are pretty big and for a fair price. I definitely recommend coming here :)

Really loved the food here. Very authentic flavours. It's a bit pricey, but nothing over the top ($12-18 for a rice bowl). It might be pricier if you get a couple sides though. Lots of seating in the W Broadway location. Overall, I really recommend it!

Decent spot on Broadway for dinner! Got the crispy wontons, truffle prawn dumplings, duck bao and marinated eggplant to share. My favorites were the crispy wontons and marinated eggplant. Food was flavourful and came out quick.

7 stars. Everything I ordered from here taste so delicious. Highly recommended. Dine in service is great too. Salted Egg Yolk Bun is very delicious & authentic, since it’s bigger than normal size Hong Kong’s Style. So the salted egg yolk is more, just taste so delicious in your mouth.
