Wow - what an incredible find - we’ll be back for sure!
Stopped by for delicious lunch with friends.
Food and service top notch and great value.
But take a look around - the decor is inspired!
We loved the beautiful decor. The room has a sophisticated design.
Enjoyed the Heritage platter, the crunchy cucumber salad and 2 varieties of dumplings. Highly recommend
Great food, albeit a bit pricey. Best eggplant I've ever had, and I dont like eggplant haha
Excellent
Warm cozy vibe with great food and a solid wine list!
Tried a little bit of everything on the menu and was very satisfied 😃
Fantastic service and atmosphere with contemporary Chinese cuisine with great pleasure! Highly recommended! Cocktail 🍸🍹 was really awesome too!
We had my mother's 80th celebration catered by Eat Heritage, looking for a Chinese traditional feast-type ambience, and the food didn't disappoint. Everybody had favourites, but the duck went especially quickly, and the kids dug into the fully loaded fried rice and veggie spring rolls. Me, I was all about the black sesame balls which people appreciated despite having to eat them as dessert when they were already stuffed. We had a nice mix of vegetarian and meatlover dishes with leftovers divvied up after the celebration. Completely happy with the catering service!
This Chef, Jimmy Lam, is doing something pretty incredible here. He is obviously innovative, and we found the food very interesting and creative, but always delicious. We did a tasting menu, which was terrific (but a little too much food for our group of 6). He's finding sympathetic tweaks to beloved dishes, like the earthy black truffle fried rice, or the corn and chive dumplings - these elevate cooking styles and ingredients he obviously loves. The peking duck was excellent. The sesame and coconut/mango desserts were really nice finishes. I thought the service was great, the room is interesting, and the price point is really good for this level of cooking in vancouver. Its my favourite new (to me) restaurant in at least a year.
Not your typical Asian restaurant . Definitely recommend and Pls try the truffle fried rice it's amazing.
It's fine. Food was good, though the menu is pretty limited. Depending on your preference, the drink selection can be a little weak. The restaurant was maybe half-full and it was still pretty loud, as is the experience with most modern joints. Can't imagine what it must be like when packed.

Fabulous food and attentive service in an attractive space - couldn’t ask for a nicer lunch! Everything we had was delicious: eggplant fries, cucumber salad, salted egg yolk squid, an excellent platter of char sui, pork, and duck, and my favourite, the chilli wontons. Forgot to take photos; we demolished everything as they came out. I missed Heritage Asian Eatery when they closed (felt very badly for them with the Broadway destruction/construction) but they’ve taken it to another level at Heritage Restaurant. Will be back!
I went for lunch on a weekday and it was great. We ordered the deep fried squid, truffle siu mai, spring roll, and chicken rice and it was delicious! In addition, very friendly staff, beautifully decorated space and convenient location.
I've had the opportunity to dine at Heritage a number of times since it opened last year. Every time I've visited, the food, drinks, and vibes are immaculate. My fave dishes include the eggplant fries, lamb dumplings, peking duck, sablefish and garlic noodles. Cocktails are also very tasty and well balanced. I highly reccomend this restaurant if you're looking for a place to go along Main Street.
An establishment that presents itself as an elevated Asian eatery. In reality, an overpriced restaurant that westernizes Asian/Chinese food for the Western palate. I think this restaurant has a specific target audience and they market that well. It’s just not the place for authentic or even good Asian/Chinese food.
Not worth it for people that know quality Asian/Chinese food.
I would give six stars for the customer service alone if I could. Outstanding dumplings, outstanding spring rolls, excellent Peking duck, very good greens, very good mala noodles (although maybe too much Sichuan) very good jasmine rice, outstanding fried rice. Best service I've ever received at a restaurant. They were very attentive to allergies and checked with us frequently to let us know what was safe or not. If you come to Vancouver, you should go to Heritage. Period.
