Didn't think I would enjoy my food but I did! Fresh, light and tastety.
You’re paying for the tatami.
Been to Japan multiple times. Ordered teriyaki chicken. Their dish is an insult on Japanese teriyaki unless you like bland food and consider salt and pepper intense flavour. $20 for bland teriyaki bowl. Chicken was not overcooked though the ingredients just weren’t fresh.
I am a regular and have been for the last 5 years. Unfortunately this last visit was sub par. The food was half of what I receive. I am shocked as this has not happened before. I am assuming they are now changing their portion size of the beef teriyaki to half of what it used to be. It's a very large difference. Sad to say I will not be frequenting this place anymore. Food is delicious but I just feel for the same price that I pay, I should get the same, regular amount of food. I left in disappointment. Here is a photo for all of you to see the portion size for $20.
We've been going here for years and it's great every time! Delicious food and friendly staff 🙂 Gluten free soy sauce available on request!
Lovely staff and delicious meal.
Today, I had a mediocre experience with this restaurant. My food was heavenly and price was decent. But what stopped this review from being 5 stars is the service I got from the male server. The server did not want to serve us seriously and only the female server was kind and polite. They also forgot two of our rolls in takeout. I heavily suggest the chicken teriyaki lunch menu set.
Decided to try the place today for lunch. Ordered Sushi & Sashimi bento and yakisoba chicken noodles. Confidently can say that I won't be back again, there are many places that have a better food quality for the same price. Disappointing experience 😕
Fresh and good quality sushi and nice sockeye sashimi.

Most disappointing Japanese restaurant I have ever eaten at Had lunch today. I would never go there again. No taste, not fresh
Value had drastically dropped for average tasting food. I’ve been ordering their bento for years for decent value and today it was easily 50% less amount than it used to be, for a higher price! 4 bites of meat total. New up charge for beef. Rice is no longer included. Tempura is now sliced so thin that all you taste is batter. No more tofu included. Less salad too. Don’t pay $25 for this, go somewhere else. They have lost a loyal customer, so very disappointed.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and really enjoyed the food and service :)
Everyone was so lovely, and they played Disney instrumentals, which created a wonderful atmosphere... Definitely recommend checking them out!
Dietary restrictions: They were so understanding about my allergy to sesame :)

What happened? The food quality has definitely gone down since the last time I've been here. Had the Bento Box A for dinner. The beef teriyaki was mushy and teped. Asked for the chicken instead and that was hard, chewy and cold...probably old. The rice was mushy. Table beside me encountered the same. Guess they're not making things fresh anymore. Would expect a little more for a $20+ meal. Prawn tempura and agedashi tofu were good, but I won't be coming back unfortunately.
