Service was a little slow as there was only one person(the owner) working. The food was pretty good though
Great food, friendly staff, but there is lots of old furniture and boxes lying around. The kitchen is right behind the counter. We ordered the tuna tataki, spicy salmon don (my order), salmon oshi and chopped scallop roll. Tataki tasted fresh, but oshi tasted a little strange. Spicy salmon don is the best thing I've ever ordered. The spicy sauce is what makes all of it come together.
Parking: We were only able to find a paid parking lot after 5 minutes, however there could be free parking we didn't find.

Small but mighty!! Fresh food, clean and bright atmosphere. Had tea & veggie combo it was amazingggg
Give this place a try! (Also they sell onigiri!!)Lovely little place, yummy food, parking in back.We ordered takoyaki, unagidon, kanypo, and their special hamburger steak . Everything so good!! Really like the smoothie as well.
Parking: Lots of room in the back
Great food, best chicken don in Vancouver but open hours are incorrect and are often not open.

Amazing and authentic Japanese food. Odessa and her husband run their restaurant flawlessly. I cannot hype this place enough and I am a very picky sushi eater. Not only the food is amazing but the service was next to none. Thank you I will definitely be back!

Visited this place last week and had a nice time. Fairly small cafe but, staff is really friendly.Had their oyako don, omurice and salmon oshi. Oyako don had nice tender chicken chunks and a sweet sauce. Paired with the rice really well. One of the best salmon oshi we've tried so far. The sauce that they had was really good. Omurice definitely could have been better. The rice inside I think did not have to be in a tomato sauce too. If it had been just white rice, would have been much better for me.Overall nice cafe to enjoy Japanese food.
A great spot for dunch as it only opens from 2 to 8pm (give them a wave if the door is locked.) The resto has four tables, but only three are opened for sitting. My friend ordered the omelette rice and I got the mentai yaki udon along with a zesty lemon squash soda. The omelette rice was better than expected and the udon was saltier than I like it to be, but that’s just my preference! Overall, I had a great experience at this small family-owned cafe.
Cute small Japanese cafe with only 2 sitting tables. We went on a Fri night and was able to get seated. Food tastes pretty good overall but the portions just a bit small for the price. We spent over $70 for two donburi rice bowls (Beef Tataki & Oyako don), one Salmon oshi & one Saba oshi sushi and a matcha latte.
Small cute little spot, worth checking out. Family run. Limited dine in space, I recommend calling in advance. Mix of home style Japanese food and sushi. The wild salmon aburi was really good. Vegetarian options were quite limited though and I was disappointed by the vegetarian sushi rolls - similar in price to the fish-containing options but mostly cheaper ingredients. The vegetable roll for example was mostly radish and lettuce with no avocado. Was also surprised that the mango roll is not vegetarian. I guess because the restaurant is more authentically Japanese and the menu is already quite broad, there are also no rolls with tempura.
Cheap, delicious, homemade food. What’s not to love? Only potential issue is occasionally inconsistent operation times, but that shouldn't deter you from visiting this hidden gem of a Vancouver restaurant
