My Goto place. Very nicely prepared food.
This is a hidden gem. My favourite place for afternoon tea and they change the theme very often. It’s not too busy but food and service is always excellent. Love their fresh oysters during happy hours too! Reservations required for their afternoon tea.
Year of the Snake lunar new Year high tea collaboration with Sulwahsoo - was the best high tea I've ever had. Desserts were delicately flavors and made , the savory creations were truly unique and superior to the typical mini croissant sandwich /egg salad sandwich/ pickle and mayo sandwich you typically get at high teas. Highly recommend.
Coffee wasn’t good, it just tasted of milk but not warm. The service was good though. Atmosphere is good
Honestly this place was so vibeyy and the service was so fast!! (๑⃙⃘´༥`๑⃙⃘) but as a side note the truffle fries from the table next to me so was freaking stinky LOL ദ്ദി(。•̀ ,<)~✩‧₊ i got the eggs benny and highly recommend getting the side salad!! Idek what the dressing is but it was sour and just super delicious!! Also the break used on the benny absorbs all the yolk and hollandaise saucee ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´- hope you get to enjoyy
Wonderful lunch eats with overly loud music to drown out conversations from tables nearby

The service was fine but the classic breakfast was so bad I feel compelled to warn others. The bacon was a slab of fat that I would not feed a stray dog and the undercooked sausage was even less edible. If you enjoy good food, avoid this restaurant disaster at all costs. Shame on Holt-Renfrew....

Joel has outstanding service. Masterclass of politeness, insight, and welcoming as host. He went above and beyond to assist me with options for seating and gave me recommendations for the best items on the menu. Will definitely be back only when Joel is around.

The food presentation and the food server were excellent. Way better than Carlino. Even your Front Guest Services Staff was so gracious. I lived around the area for a while that I didn't realize it is more than a Cafe, it is a great place for people to hang out and reconnect. Thank you for the great experience. Keep it up.
Heart warming

The marimekko cafe was a wonderful experience. We had the mochas which were delicious not too sweet. The cabbage rolls were tasty and loved the condiments. A beautiful experience. I will come back to try the regular menu soon

Food was very one dimensional. The chicken and biscuit was strange. Chicken was battered like a Katsu. Sauce was too cheesy. Which seems to be a theme of this restaurant - cheese. Omelet was too cheesy and didn't have much flavor. I don't mean it was not salted (I liked the level of salt, it didn't make me thirsty), I mean it was not flavorful. Not enough spices or ingredients to add other dimensions of taste. Chowder was a 7/10, not bad.
Their spiced latte was delicious. Probably my favorite item of the meal.
Service was also top notch.
