The service was top-notch from beginning to end and they surprised me with a cute and refreshing dessert on top of the complimentary bday set. Everything we ordered tasted great and the servers were so attentive the entire time. It was definitely a very special dining experience. Will be back for sure!

This was a new finding, but not out standing to me. There are not a whole lot of Japanese BBQ places in town to compare to as well.
We ordered the dinner set for 2 ($100). It was quite the variety of food and a fair bit for the price: Tofu Goma Salad - quite tasty and different. There was tofu, sprouts, peanuts...etc....but the dressing was very good. Soup - a little too salty for me, but a normal miso with tofu. Chicken Karaage - came with some kind of mayo dish. Bland and a little bit dry. Sushi - A slice of meat and their was rice with seaweed. The novelty of cooking the meat and rolling it. Bimbimbap - Surprised to have it in a Japanese BBQ, but I went with it. Enough for 2, but there was not a lot of stuff to mix with the rice. BBQ - Beans sprouts with butter. Steam Clams with tomatoes. Chicken wrapped with shiso. Then a variety of meats. A generous portion.
Overall, it was above average and I thought for the price, the portions were not small. We were full from this meal.
Parking was a little but challenging, but there was a variety of paid street parking.

Tried their 3 items set A! Got filet, chicken and pork butt for bbq. They also got salad, some appetizer, rice and miso soup! So satisfying!
We also ordered other meat, Shiso chicken and Homura sushi are my favourite!!!
However, I assume there will be a birthday dessert but seems the staff forgot/ they stop providing… it was a little bit disappointed:(

Relatively inexpensive lunch set and good portion of Meat. Not busy during weekday lunch time.. Due to the broadway construction, this place isnt as busy as used to(gyukaku) we will come and support the local business more.

I had a wonderful birthday lunch there; it was my second visit in four days. I received a complimentary lunch set, and we also ordered a side dish.
All the beef is of good quality, but we loved the harami and tongue the most. The portions are large, and we couldn't finish the rice and soup.
The restaurant also kindly sent me an ice cream dessert, lit with a sparkling candle.
We had dinner there the other day as well, which was also very good. I highly recommend it for all meat lovers!
One star of atmosphere is for the location as the surrounding is all under construction it’s not easy to locate a parking near, we park at the opposite street for $8/hr

The service was absolutely fantastic, and the servers were incredibly attentive and friendly. Our server, Maeri, truly went above and beyond. When she found out it was my birthday the next day, she surprised me with a special dessert, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It made the evening even more memorable. Highly recommend this place for both the delicious food and exceptional service!
Omg best BBQ place in town! Affordable price and premium quality, the service was also superb! They offer free lunch set and dessert for the birthday person so generous & sweet ? everything was wonderful I would definitely come back!

We were here for a birthday and the service was above and beyond. All their staff is friendly and service + food quality is top notch. They have us a free lunch combo for our birthday even though it was dinner time and on top of that they ended with a free dessert with candle and a happy birthday message at the end. As for the food, my favorite was the shio harami beef with amazing umami flavor but everything else was great - toro beef, rib finger, kalbi beef and more. I strongly recommend a visit here especially if you are celebrating a birthday.
