Came here for a birthday dinner and really enjoyed everything. The duck was ofc the highlight and was super well cut and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the non-duck dishes too like the kung pao chicken which tasted just like what I used to get in Shen Zhen, and the rice cake dessert was also 10/10.
We reserved a spot in advance and got incredibly fast service. Recommend reserving as you probably have to wait a while if not.
Tasty food, nice people, what more can you ask for? No notes.

Didn’t quite satisfy for the price point. The duck may be locally raised and all, but the meat has no flavor. The duck wrap is entirely flavored by the sauce, which is disappointing. The way they cut the duck slices that get wrapped don’t have enough skin on them, and the skin carries the majority of the duck flavor. The stir fried duck carcass is also very oily.

I found this through 小红书 (Red Book) and I thought it would be good. First of all, the duck sauce was bitter, it’s not supposed to be like that. It’s supposed to be sweeter, the after taste was worse. I come from America and raised in Beijing I traveled all the world and tried their roasted duck, none of them were as bad as this one. I am not trying to bash anybody, this is genuinely how I felt based on my experience. The duck soup had NO flavor at all whatsoever, I dumped an entire spoon of salt into it. The wrapping for the duck was hard, it was stiff to bite into, everything combined was just terrible. The waitress was very nice and honestly that’s the only good thing about this restaurant. I told her that it tasted weird, she brought it to the chef and then told me that this was the way it is everyday and normal?! Honestly surprised, but maybe it was just me.

The duck is organically raised in local farm and delicately processed before serving as roasted duck on the table. Delicious and must try!
The cauliflower is tasted so good that we wish we had ordered two servings.
Owner of the restaurant is very kind and keen on presenting the best quality of food.
Hard to believe we could find such a high quality of Chinese food restaurant at a busy west side of vancouver.
By the way, the home brewing beer is a must try. So tasteful that I broke my rule to drink a whole bottle of the beer!
Will definitely visit again!

Amazing restaurant, worth a visit!
The duck is authentic and delectable, served with greens and plum sauce. We had the combo with kung pao chicken and vinegar pickled cabbage. We also had the duck gizzards, which are served with a lovely refreshing cilantro sauce, and black bean noodles. Besides the amazing duck, the cabbage was our favorite — sweet and acidic and complex. Delicious!

It’s was all amazing and delicious! The kung pow chicken was really tasty! The duck was also perfect with a nice salty duck sauce to put in all the wraps. We also tried the pickled cabbage for the first time and it’s my new obsession. Thank you for the great meal!

Truly authentic Peking roasted duck, crispy skin outside and tender meat inside. It was delicious (tasteful, tender, not oily, not dry, just perfectly cooked) which did give us a pleasant surprise. Having been to most popular restaurants serving roasted duck in Vancouver, this small cozy restaurant outperforms most of other’s. Plus the service was outstanding too. Highly recommend!

I’ve been waiting to try out this place’s Peking duck since March (2mon) before our trip. Glad I called earlier today to make the reservation and the food was as good as I remembered for years ago what I had in Beijing. Would definitely visit again later this year when I come back for the bmo marathon

Don’t fall for the fake reviews, the food deserves a 3 star maximum but I put 1 star because all of the other fake views. Btw if you bought the combo as 4 people you would be

It’s written on the menu that our combo gets the whole duck but no we only got two small dishes of the duck meat and nothing in our duck soup besides plain soup and it’s a tiny pot. We paid for the whole but I doubt if there’s even half. And it’s weird that they cut the duck behind my back instead of right beside me when the whole restaurant is empty only our table not like there’s no space, every other duck restaurants I’ve been to they always cut your duck in front of you. On menu shows the combo is for 2-4ppl but no only two ppl. Duck meat very dry and that soup tastes like instant noodles seasoning. I was starving cuz I was waiting for this meal the whole day and it turned out like this, honestly for whoever looking to go please don’t, you’d feel very disappointed.

Those who go there for the roast duck should give up as soon as possible. The duck skin is not crispy enough and the salt and pepper duck rack is full of leftovers. Not authentic.
