As someone who’s been to MANY Vancouver poke spots, hula is the best! There are no build your own bowls here but the chef designed ones are so good you won’t even miss it. Generous poke-to-rice ratio, vegetarian options, and super fresh fish. The employee here was working alone but still gave very friendly and fast service, and recommended me the yuzu wai-tai which totally changed the game! Just one critique: I wish there was brown rice.

Absolutely my favorite quick stop for lunch & dinner. Healthy delicious food made fresh daily suite my need. I recommend the Cali Veg flavor (GF,DF) for people who are celiac.

Had a poke bowl from Hula for lunch! Chose their Ponzu flavour with marinated salmon, and it was a good meal. I always wish there was more protein for the price, but that being said, the flavours were fantastic. There was ample dressing and the soy and citrus notes coated the base and ingredients well (coconut rice, avocado, cucumber, carrots, red peppers, pickled red onions, kale). The bowl felt healthier than the other poke shops and was therefore, a nice change of pace. All the flavours are already predetermined so there aren't any customizable bowl options (although you do pick your own protein/veg and base). I ordered and received my bowl in under two minutes as the only customer at the time.

It came to $17.32 including tax. Not the cheapest option for lunch, but the portion was fair and it's a good option in the food court! They have many dairy free, gluten free and vegan friendly options.

The food was so great as well as the customer service. We ordered Tiki (spicy) bowl and the person working at Hula recommended that bowl to us. Cheers to him 💗

The tiki poke bowl was so flavourful and the sauce was perfectly balanced. The portion was generous and satisfying. I was really impressed with how fast my bowl was prepared. The staff were so friendly, a pleasant experience overall.

Firstly, I want to say that Hula poke is one of my favourite poke places but after my experience today I won’t be back at waterfront location (or any other location for a long time unfortunately)

I ordered, payed with cash and watched the staff take money with the glove on and then proceeded to scoop food without washing hands and with the same glove on.
I pointed it out but he just showed me his other hand basically saying that he used the other hand when taking money. Which was not true and I saw it with my own eyes.
I understand that mistakes happen but he didn’t even admit it or say sorry. At that point I just asked for a refund and left because it made me question the cleanliness of this place.

He was also wearing headphones the whole time which didn’t leave a good impression. I mean if there’s no one I can care less but if you’re talking to customers I find it kinda rude.

Awesome “fast food”.

Vegetarian options: Can order any of the bowls with sweet potato or tofu.
