A group of us working together booked this beautiful space for a private wedding ceremony, and unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with their management team. We paid a deposit, and a month before the wedding ceremony, they changed the venue terms by letting us know they were doing renovations. While we appreciated their effort in trying to provide other options, we decided not to move forward with them as this was not what we agreed on. It's not good business practice to share these details a month before the event, let alone not give us our full deposit back for the change. Please rectify this situation and make it right by giving us our deposit back. Thanks.

3/20/2024What a cool venue, so sleek and modern. Our drinks were tasty and we had a sushi roll as a snack, and it was so good. It was the dancing roll. Our server was very friendly and helpful, but as there wasn't much of a crowd, the server would disappear a little too long sometimes, but still very enjoyable. I didn't understand the 3.9 average rating, I think it's probably a tough location for this type of place. It was ultra clean, probably due to the white decor they need to be extra careful. I would for sure go back if we are ever in town again.

We wanted an afternoon snack on a chilly day, and HY Tea was the perfect stop for us! It felt like we found a secret hideaway behind the waterfall. I had the rose garden tea, my partner had the spring blossom tea, and my kids got mango slushy and strawberry milk. We split a dancing sushi roll. Everything was delicious, and the waitress amiable. Loved the beautiful space with huge windows and fresh flowers on every table.

The service was great, the server was really nice and attentive. The space inside is nice and bright. We had the afternoon tea menu which was $58 per person. The food we did not enjoy so much but the dessert options were good. I feel like this place is great as an experience but if you are hungry, I would suggest making a reso to a restaurant afterwards as the food is not very filling.

If you're looking for an Asian twist on afternoon tea, this would be your place.The shop welcomes you with its openness filled with cute decorations and comforting atmosphere. My friends and I went with Afternoon Tea, as well as the Crab Cake, and the selection of Tea were endless.I went with a Milk Tea while my friends selected a Fruit Tea, but the joy of Afternoon Tea is trying all of the drinks we could handle. If you haven't filled up on Tea, then the meal itself would require you another stomach.To be fair, Afternoon Tea consists a lot of Bread, but the fillings were hitting all the right spots. The Crab Cake was also quite good, a bit salty, but a great addition to our meal. We also prdered Sushi, which was also good, but we were so full by the end!There was a party also happening while we were dining, so keep in mind there is not a lot of privacy in the dining area. Service was great, and hopefully next time I come, I am ready to eat.

This is very surprising that at 3:15pm on Saturday, 3 of us are the only customers there. That is very odd that for the whole time until 4:45... no customers at all. This is very very odd that we don't enjoy it that much. Food is basic and everything is not as compared to what it is advertised or promoted in social media... The quietness is not what we want and I think that is because of it doesn't provide a good afternoon tea atmosphere. Sorry , I have to be honest to other people that might be thinking of going there.

Atrocious display of ignorance and classism as they release balloons at their Richmond location. What a disgusting display of environmental harm that will, obviously, give no consequences to the owners nor Wilson Miao, the federal mp who was present and supportive of their group.
Why support yet another rich business who does not care about the community nor the crises we are experiencing?
Awfully expensive and mediocre desserts. Literally tastes like it was made from a box prep, but without reading the recipe. How disappointing in all aspects.

These guys thought it would be a good marketing stunt to release hundreds of balloons with no intent of cleaning it up and littering across the city. Then they did clean up, but only at their front door. Never been, but I will avoid and suggest same to everyone else. Disgusting.
