First I'd like to say the shop was not open and I could smell the chocolate the door was unlocked! I say hello they say sorry we are closed ... I apologize.. about to shut the door and the owner not only invites me in but is getting ready for an event. Him and is wonderful staff not only invite me and my friend with a broken foot in while they are setting up for an event proceeds to all about our day💜 now i get home and the chocolate .. oh the chocolate.. this is 80% intense...
We haven’t been to their physical store, but tried their special hot chocolate crafted for Chinese New Year 🧧. It might not be the most delicious hot chocolate you would ever have, but we were impressed by their creativity to integrate Holy Duck Chilli Oil, which gave an aftertaste like a little kick of the heat. Such an awesome job to make Chinese ingredients confused with western ones at Chinese festivals.
Lived up to the hype! The pistachio Knafah bar and strawberry cup are worth the price and visit alone , staff are friendly and helpful. We live in Nanaimo and make a point to stop here any time we visit Vancouver. A really fun place to visit. Highly recommended!
