You are not going to find better duck in Vancouver. AmazingStarted with a couple of delicious Manhattans, smoked fish with plum sauce and lotus root. Fantastic warmup. Manhattans came with the proper cherries.Duck was cut immaculately tableside. Crepes light and tasty. Recommend asking for some of their homemade spicy sauce to increase the heat. As good as you can get.Service was professional, welcoming and composed.Atmosphere was relaxed but upscale. Definitely not pretentious, but if you wanted to be pretentious they would probably accommodate.Make a reservation and pre-order the duck (like they recommend). Otherwise it can take up to 55 mins.Just a wonderful few hours celebrating life with my amazing son.PS. Yes, I should have taken more photos but I’m an actual person not some idiot content creator.PPS. No. We didn’t eat with a fork like some cretins. One just happened to be in the frame.

I will never understand how this spot received a Michelin star. Could be the worst "fine dining" experience in the city. We called for a reservation and were told they were completely booked until 9pm. We arrived at 7:30pm in hopes of getting in sooner. The restaurant was next to empty. The hostess let us know they could seat us earlier but that our table wasn't ready yet.... again, there was nobody there! But lucky for us, the hostess would "upgrade" our table reservation to a table that was ready? Someone wearing a full tux, white gloves and a glitter bow tie sat us at our "upgraded" table. Looked like the same table as all the empty ones around us? We asked to order some tea and water. The person who sat us said they'd send someone over to take that order. We were sent 3 different people to take an order for tea and water! Each time, the person would say they were sorry but they didn't understand what we wanted and sent someone else over. Finally, we got our tea and water. Dare we order some wine too? Same experience trying to get that in. Finally our wine arrived and we ordered some food. We had called ahead to pre-order the duck and were grateful they accommodated that order seeing as we arrived to our reservation very early. But considering how expensive the duck was, it was weird that they brought us the pancakes and duck and then packaged the rest for us to take home? Literally as they served the duck, a to-go box pre-packed with the rest of the duck was served too. All in all, a very weird experience. Not "fine dining" by any means. And the bill was insane considering the delivery. Won't be returning.

It was an overall great experience for lunch. The service was impeccable. William took care of us and remembered my husband’s food allergies and was quick to make alternative suggestions. The food was delicious, the service was attentive. We will definitely return to try other dishes and for dinner.

HORRIBLE! If I could give negative points I would. Their Michelin star feels like a scam!! Far away of being a fine dining experience: people in hoodies! The set menu is horrible!! The food just does not taste nice. E.g: a peppery soup with a pear in side(?), a gooey fishmaw with a sauce that taste like it has come from a can, a tasteless geoduck.. besides what js written in the menu does not always match what you get on the plate.Service completely inexperienced: they will just serve you without explaining anything. When asked about an ingredient, they just did not know.Wines pairing was also not great: all very average wines. Why waste soo much money importing mediocre wine!Had to abort the tasting menu as it was not great at all! First time we have to stop a tasting but it was the best!AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
