I was out of Canada looking forward to some Indian food when I returned. Indian oven has the best butter chicken in the area and I was not disappointed. large portions, great atmosphere and charming service is a recipe for success.

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time dining at this restaurant last night. Food was excellent and the servers were very attentive: checking to see how we were doing and making sure everything was ok. The owner (who is also the chef) came out to say hello near the end of our meal. He also check to make sure we enjoyed our dining experience. If you haven't tried this place out, it's definitely worth paying a visit. Can't wait to go back again soon.

Generous portions, delicious food. The server was very nice, reminding us about the oil content of certain foods and bringing extra napkins when we needed it.Really nice ambience and decor too, with a great view of downtown and the mountains, as well as the bustle of 4th Ave.

We had palak paneer and a goat curry (both ordered hot), naan, and rice. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The food came quickly. The portions were large, and Arvind (owner) was extremely welcoming and kind. I have eaten many curries in the Vancouver area, and Indian Oven is the best in Kitsilano.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options.

I am not a big fan of Indian food, but I absolutely LOVED this great restaurant in the heart of Kitsilano. They have multiple vegetarian options, and their fish tandoori was some of the best fish I've had. If you are in Kitsilano or even Vancouver, come eat here!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies and fish!

I was visiting Vancouver with my family and found this amazing restaurant in Kitsilano near the beach on 4th Ave. the chef was incredibly helpful in explaining various dishes and the food was the best tandoori and chai I have ever had. I would highly recommend this establishment for lunch or for a special dinner. Five stars!!
