Ordered ginger beef and the beef tastes stale —this is dangerous. Mixed vegetables with cashew nuts: there is no cashew nuts at all. Thanks Uber Eats gave me refund.

I’ve been coming to Iron Wok for over 20 years, and let me tell you — the food has never been better than it is right now. Healthy, vibrant, full of flavour — truly the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. The freshness, the balance, and the pride in every dish are a reflection of something deeper: a beautiful family business done right.
Located right on the corner of Alma Street in the mall, Iron Wok is one of those rare gems where the people are as good as the food. I’ve seen families come in to grab meals for loved ones, and it reminds me of what I’ve done for years — bringing food home, supporting real people, and being part of something local.
This is what makes communities thrive: mom-and-pop businesses, not just public sector sprawl. Canada needs more of this — real families, real food, real service, built on pride and legacy.
Their consistency, care, and dedication are why I keep coming back — and always will. We need to support businesses like Iron Wok, just like I’ve supported my own parents in business and just like I support local homeowners every day in real estate.
Support your local economy. Eat well. Live well.
Thank you, Iron Wok. You are the heart of Point Grey.

The food dosen't taste much
Been coming here for many years. Never received any greeting more than a grunt. ( except for occasional helpers, they are very nice)No smiles. Have given up on asking for extra sauce, extra onions. They nod, you get home-No extras.
I only come here because it’s reasonable price, and food is edible. No good chinese places in point grey.
The food is good but charging us $7 to remove bean sprouts from a dish us a bit much. Next time we will remove them ourselves.
Delicious food and very big portions. Will be back ❤️
Baddest food ever .. dont even dare order any chicken especially sesame chicken.. u wont even notice there are chickens inside coz they cover it with lots of FLOUR !! sugar and soy sauces only.. made in china i suppose ?
Listen mr wok ! Are you guys suppose to get richer by cheating and poisoning people with unhealthy food??
Iron Wok is a truly beautiful mom-and-pop restaurant that embodies kindness and authenticity. The owners are incredibly warm-hearted, making every visit a delightful experience. Their food is absolutely delicious and unpretentious, prepared with care and love. I highly recommend trying their Dinner for Two box – it’s a perfect way to enjoy a flavorful and satisfying meal. Very conveniently located and plenty of parking out front. The food was good considering its price. The pan fried dumpling is especially good.

I’ve been going here for years and love it. Tiny mom and pop takeout shop with basic Canadian Chinese food. It’s always very quick, delicious, and reasonably priced.

It's a take out place. Typical Chinese take out. I like the dinner for 1 and dinner for 2 combos. Good veggies, fast service. Never felt sick eating here and I eat here often. Recommend.
