Buongiorno!I missed the big Italian Day festival on The Drive (Commercial Drive, Vancouver) back in June due to prior commitments. That's where I'd usually try a different flavour Cannoli - every couple of years. To make up for missing the big festival, I headed to Italia Bakery to get my Cannoli fix. This is the location for Cannoli King.It is a tidy bakery with lots of baked goods - pastries, cookies, cakes & Cannoli.CK uses 100% ricotta cheese & has been in Vancouver for 40 years via Sicily.I've tried a lot of flavours - Pistachio, Nutella, Coffee, Tiramisu etcetera ... I could go on but you get the point.Service is prompt, friendly & helpful - ask questions if you're unsure about what you want to get. There's limited seating, plenty options & a well spaced out interior at this bakery.I'll be honest, my taste for Cannoli goes up & down depending on my taste buds on that particular day. While your there, why not try an Espresso with an Italian cake.Has Cannoli finally grown on me ... meh not quite yet.But I won't give up.Yelpies formulate your own opinions based on your taste.Give Cannoli King a try.Benissimo.

A must to visit. Authentic Italian pastry with simple, but very good coffee and amazing service.

Delicious Italian bakery with lovely cakes. Their cannolis and croissants are my favourite. Usually a small line up but worth the wait.

I’m not going to lie the pastries taste great but the person working at the front during Wednesday morning was rude and that’s one star for me. (Woman mid 50s with short hair)The lady made a mistake with my order and I notice after I paid, she continue to said that I got what I ordered which I didn’t. I asked her to replace my order and paid the difference which it was 2 dollars, she asked me if I have cash and I said no and she continue to said that that I needed to paid $2.25 instead which I consider absurd as it was her mistake

I cannot even begin to explain how terrible this place is on so many levels. First, staff is incredible rude, or at least the one I had the displeasure of dealing with. I won't be exaggerating if I even said racist. Old short haired lady who from the second I started talking to her, she seemed incredibly uninterested and didn't even bother to respond to "how are you".Then when picking my items she'd totally ignore me and chat with another person beside her. After boxing everything behind the counter where I couldn't see, she presented me with a small closed box. I commented that its too small and asked if she's sure everything is in there and even repeated the items, she said yup, all there. Then she leaned towards the girl beside her and whispered something in her ear while both were looking at me! Are you serious?Of course I got home, and the biggest most expensive item was missing, despite me confirming with her it was there. It's my fault of course, I should have opened the box and checked every item when I was already feeling uncomfortable.I'm not going to that dump ever again, and I'll do my best to tell everyone I know not to go there. This does not feel like an honest mistake by any means.Oh yeah, the food was average at best and some items were stale and didn't feel fresh as similar to what some of the other reviews had said.

I recently purchased a small frozen cake (St. Honore - Chocolate Raspberry) in the amount of $40.00 to see what quality you get from this bakery with the intent to have a large version freshly made for a birthday party. I am aware that a frozen cake does not taste the same as freshly made and can make allowances for that. The cost was not an issue as I was after quality.Thawed the cake overnight and prepared to serve it after dinner. Upon opening the cardboard box it comes in, I noticed that the cake was not exactly as shown on the website. This cake had 3 raspberries compared to the 6 pictured on the website.Imagine the disappointment when the cake was cut into pieces and served to find that it was only sponge and raspberry custard layers but no choux pastry at all compared to the 2 layers of pastry as indicated in the website. This is not only a disappointment from what you are led to believe you are purchasing but a rip off and a form of false advertising.I suggest the owners pay better attention to what the staff is doing if they want to promote themselves any thing above a mediocre bakery.Save on Foods can beat the quality and price for a comparable product at $26.00Very disappointed, never again!

Absolutely the best bakery, ever. Period. Their cakes are superb and the cannoli are the best I've had outside of Italy. The service is excellent, as well. Sam knows what he's doing and cares about his customers. Ask for Rosa and tell her 'Alessandro' sent you! ?

If you're looking for a solid bakery offering authentic Italian pastries such as baba, lemoncello puffs, amaretti pinch cookies- this is it. Hastings and renfrew location is a great option for online cake and baked goods plus in person orders. They also make espresso onsite which is very good. They have a cannoli bar with a variety of fillings made to order plus a cannoli cake. Baked buns, prosciutto cotto or crudo, mortadella and other Italian meats. Some frozen pastas and cakes, and an assortment of small packaged deli items. Very good selection of cookies, biscotti and pizza bread. Always good to order in advance as some items go quickly. Most of the time you can find parking in front.

I haven't been here in years and was pleasantly surprised at their Cannoli King branding. We stopped in for cannolis and they have a nice counter designated for making those while you wait. The shells are pre-made and they stuff them after you pick which ones you want. It does slow down the purchase process and you have to wait in a line-up. This will hinder some people from coming here but I think you can preorder online. They do pack a huge price which was a bit surprising. I think $6 for a cannoli is too high. The bakery has all sorts of other goodies worth trying. We bought some white bread which was OK. As far as cannoli flavour goes, they were OK but could have been more flavourful. I've tasted better ones at Granville Island. They need to kick up the flavours and not appear to cut corners. People will pay the extra for bursts of flavour.

If you are looking for the best cannoli in town, this is where you come. Also for those special occasion cakes. Good coffee too if you have a few mins to enjoy.

I think this is one of the best bakeries in the city but it flies under a lot of people's radar because the location doesn't get a lot of foot traffic. If you do make it out though, the cookies and cannoli are incredible, simple but perfectly executed. I haven't tried their cakes yet but I have no doubt that they're equally as delicious.

I love that they offer cannolis here because they are hard to find. They offer a variety of cannoli flavours in the bakery and we chose a few of our favs to try out. Lemon - fresh pop of lemon flavour within the lemon custard. It wasn't too sweet and the cannoli had a crunch on the outside Pistachio - Wish it had more pistachio flavour because it was just a hint of it. Would have loved more crushed pistachios as well Tiramisu - Perfect blend of coffee flavours! Custard was smooth and velvety. Simply delicious Stracciatella - Similar to the tiramisu with a perfect blend of flavours. There was a slight bitterness to the chocolate but was sweetened by the sweetness of the custard.
