I flew in from Fort St. John to Vancouver for a weekend getaway, and dining at Italian Kitchen was hands down the highlight of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was a perfect 10 out of 10, warm, lively, and full of that classic Italian charm that makes you want to sit a little longer and order just one more dish. We tried their pastas and the eggplant appetizer, and every bite was rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Even though it was authentic Italian cuisine, the flavors were absolutely perfect for an Indian palate, bold, satisfying, and comforting in all the right ways. The most unforgettable part of the evening was when Mr. M, the owner himself, came to our table and prepared the tiramisu right in front of us. Watching him craft it tableside and then tasting it fresh was such a special experience. It was easily the best tiramisu we’ve ever had. Amazing food, outstanding hospitality, and an experience that felt personal and memorable. 100% recommended. If you’re in Vancouver, Italian Kitchen is a must-visit

Flew all the way from Fort St. John to Vancouver just to experience the tableside tiramisu at Italian Kitchen, and it was absolutely worth it. Watching it being prepared fresh right at the table was such a unique touch, and the owner personally making it made the experience even more special. It was hands down the best tiramisu I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced, rich, and incredibly fresh.

Just dined at Italian Kitchen for the first time and all I can say is WOW. From the moment we walked in, the service was fantastic. We were greeted with smiles. Every person who helped us was so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Our server was Tolga and he was insanely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. We had the Caprese salad and the Branzino (sea bass). It has a hard salt crust and they crack it in front of you, then come back with the fish filleted. The flavour was unreal, unlike any sea bass I’ve ever had. One of the owners even came to check up on us and make sure we were having a good dining experience. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to have amazing food and service.

Unfortunately one of our pasta dishes had tough noodles where the texture was inconsistent. It simply didn’t taste good or properly cooked. When we brought this up with our server, they proceeded to explain that the noodles were freshly made and al dente and dismissed our comment. Later, the manager (?) came by to ask and when we explained, he asked, “so do you want us to remake it?” which at that point, we declined. The meal was over and the poor service killed our evening. More than the terribly cooked pasta, disappointed at the service here and the lack of effort to make it right. They made little effort to make things right, if they even believed our complaint.
Save yourself the trouble and go to one of the many better Italian restaurants with better service.

Unfortunately the pasta dishes fell short. The carbonara was good but clearly had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. The duck ragu pasta was undercooked (though the duck ragu sauce itself was quite good). When we told staff, instead of helping resolve the situation or improve things we were met with stonewall and shoulder shrugs.
Asma made our night! Wonderful server that help modify our evening to suit our autistic daughter! Recommend this spot to all!

Food was great, I have to say the eggplant parmigiana is the top item, the squid ink pasta was good as well. However the service was amazing and way better than expected. Reiko was always ready and was of great help, in addition to her expertise in wine selection. Would surely come again to try other items alongside the eggplant parmigiana.
