Such a surprise! A very unassuming establishment that was pleasantly surprising with a great atmosphere, engaging service and the food was excellent! If you find yourself in Vancouver and aren't sure where to eat, this would be a place to consider. Highly recommended!

You know what? It’s okay! Pretty good atmosphere: music was a little loud but head boppin nu-disco/indietronica (I had to look it up lol), small pub vibes, curly fries were good. Decent food, especially on the half hour menu. Drinks are small though. Service was meh and seemed dismissive: it did get better when there was a shift swap. We didn’t stay late enough but apparently a live DJ spins.

Hands down the most unprofessional staff I’ve ever encountered. One server was immediately rude and condescending just because our friends arrived a few minutes after us and went to the bar to order their own drinks. No big deal... except to her, apparently.
When we calmly said her attitude was out of line, another staff member charged out of the bar and started screaming at us on the street like a lunatic. I’m not exaggerating. It was aggressive, unprofessional, and downright unhinged.
Zero self-awareness, zero professionalism, zero reason to ever go back.
DO NOT go here. Horrible customer service. The staff is playing games at a back table with their friends and get mad at you if you interrupt. Horrible drink service. There’s a great bar next door if you’re in the area looking for a drink

So awkward and loud! I had to ask for a glass, felt like I was bothering them. I was going to eat, but the waitress kept scratching her head and rubbing her nose while pouring drinks, using the debit machine—never washed her hands once.

The Atmosphere; This place smells like a wet dog, and old beer. And the carpet is is the visual embodiment of that. The smell hits you hard.
This place is like a truck stop and not in the good way. Beer toting, burping, drooling atmosphere. Very musty, like a wet basement from the 90s on a far! Kinda took away some of my appetite. I was scared to even sit.
I came here because of the pictures looked good; but sadly it just looked good.
As well do not bring children here. At this occasion all the customers were rowdy, with crash language, drunk, agressive, loud, slovenly. I was begging to get out of here fast! So be ready, this may be the regular clientel here; gruff and unappealing. They match the smell. Similar to an old tavern for vets, rather unsavory.
The Food; The name fits, the food was okay. Nothing to call-in about. But overall not very appetizing.

I’ve been industry for over 20 years and I have never felt more comfortable at an establishment in Vancouver. Food, awesome. Vibe, exactly. Staff, perfect. Huge fan of this joint, and one of the first places I bring my out of towners. Keep it up and you’ll be better than Okay!
