K. I love this place! Hard to see it when you drive by it, but glad I stumbled upon it thru a Google cafe search! My friend and I got delicious, good quality pastries to pair with our flat white and Americano. The coffee beans used give the drinks complexity and depth. The customer service was genuine and friendly. Will return!!

I’m a simple person : I like my coffee black and my food with a taste of home. Jack’s Spot delivers both. I’ve tried three different types of coffee here, and each one has been excellent—rich, smooth, and brewed with care. The pastries are just as impressive: I’ve sampled three or four so far, and every one has been consistently delicious, the kind of flavors that feel comforting and familiar.
Simple, honest food and coffee done right. Highly recommend this little café.

Ordered a Mocha and did not taste good unfortunately. The espresso tasted very sour which overpowered the entire drink. Could not taste the chocoltey-ness of the drink. Did not finish the drink sadly.
Edit to respond to owner’s reply: Yes we did ask for less sweet in the mocha and turned out it was not sweet enough and you added some syrup which made the sugar level better (though not sure why you wouldn’t just add some mocha sauce instead, but it’s whatever). We were happy with the sweetness and left.
However, my review is about the coffee itself. The coffee/espresso shot tasted very sour which is odd. I don’t think ordering “less sweet” would change the “sourness” of the drink. It’s about how your coffee shop extracted the espresso shot.
My girlfriend and I order mochas all the time from various cafes in the lower mainland and abroad and will usually ask for less sweet. We know how a good mocha should taste like. We wish this could’ve been a good review.
At the end of the day, our order of mocha had a sour taste hence the original 2 star review. But now you’re telling me it’s because we ordered “less sugar” which to me is completely bizarre.
I knew this cafe from social media. And this is my first visit which made me feel satisfied. My order was chocolate chips and blueberry matcha latte. Both of them were fantastic. The most attractive part was the environment inside. Their clean and cozy atmosphere released my stress. Also they sold some products unique such as T-shirts and hats. I’m so in that I bought one of the shirts and the other beverage which was strawberry matcha latte. You know what? I even tried the shirt before I purchased. Employees were very kind and willing to help. I really recommend anyone who wants a chill afternoon visiting here. If I need to point out something can improve, that would be the closed time which is at 4 pm. I truly hope I can stay longer inside. Anyway, five stars no doubt.

Cute cafe with high quality drinks and venoisserie. We had a few matcha lattes that were a vibrant green hue showing the freshness of the matcha -- I learned the matcha comes from Kyoto, the place where the best matcha is grown. They even had unexpected seasonal flavors like blueberry matcha which was a delicious pairing that allowed the matcha to still shine through. We also bought a few baked goods that were of great quality similar to what you might find at other top tier bakeries in major cities like SF, NYC, etc. Sooo good!!! Don't miss out on this neighborhood gem.
