The best bar in the city with the loveliest staff! Jackalopes is everything you want out of a cosy neighbourhood dive bar with all of the comfort food that you could be craving, good music, always playing, and the most inviting staff you’ll ever meet.
They have vegan, GF, and LOTS of meat options to meet everyone’s needs.

First time here, we came before the ACDC concert staff were great, atmosphere amazing! wish we could have tried the food. I heard the natchos are amazing!

If you're a poseur, wimp or lover of light beers... This may not be the establishment for you.

Great spot at East Hastings! Place is unique, decoration and music-wise. Definitely don’t go if you don’t like prog rock or metal, the music is not loud but you can definitely hear it. We tried the Thursday cheeseburger, reasonably priced and tasting good, as well as the Hawaiian Intervention nachos. They were delicious, but we felt a little bit lacking for a party of 8; most importantly it took some 40 minutes to arrive, and by then we were starving haha. They were delicious (ingredientes, spices, sauces), but the wait time was too long. Service was friendly and beers were fantastic.

We were visiting out of town and picked a random place to go eat nearby and this came up, we saw so many good reviews and were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, great staff, awesome name. 🤟🤟

Neighbourhood black diamond - decked out in heavy metal memorabilia, and blasting the best and loudest tunes. Jackalopes is a fun time every single time. Visited for Valentine’s this year, celebrating the best way. Good eats and fast bartenders. Dog treats at the door for passing furbabies!

Had my buddies surprise party here! Staff was accommodating, treated him to some drinks and we hit happy hour. Good wings too

Atmosphere 10/10. Music 10/10. Food and beer 10/10. I want my funeral to be hosted here.

hastings is full of good bars/dives and this is most definitely one of them. and excellent metal bar that doesn’t skimp on the decor and music of the genre. the staff are so friendly and the food is worth going out of the way for

Walked in. Sat at the bar. Was given a menu. Then I must have became invisible. Sat at the bar with the bartender standing around trying to look busy .. not served by anybody. I thought sitting at the bar meant you were ready to drink .. not there I suppose. I walked and won’t be back. Good luck
