Wow! The reviews and hype ended up being well deserved. Finding it hard not to come back everyday in my Vancouver stay!

While visiting Vancouver, I searched oline for breakfast restaurants. Jam Cafe came up in the search. I sat at the counter as the line outside was long. I order my first chicken and waffles ever. So glad that I did, I enjoyed it to the very last bit!

Line moves at a decent pace. Eggs Benedict was really good, peach French toast was also great. I think the French toast & chicken is missing a few things, and the gravy coop plate has a bit too many things going on. But overall beautiful plates, great service and great flavours.
Food was so pretty and well plated. Had the avocado Benny which was quite good. Child had the oat pancakes which were dry. The area we sat in smelled of urine like someone had peed on the building outside the window. Not sure it’s worth the line up on a busy day.

Everytime I've been here has been a great experience. The service is efficient and always kind when dealing with long brunch lines. The food is always flavorful and unique. A popular spot for a reason!

The one in Kits is better. Food is overpriced and not worth it.
The Old Town Breakdast had 2 bacon instead of the usual 3. The portions for the egg is small. They used to give 2 whole slices of bread and now they split one piece of bread into two.
Shrinkflation is affecting the business.
Skip this brunch place and just save your money. The WAIT is not worth it here.

Ne ready to wait because of a line up BUT the wait is so worth it. Came here as recommended by my friend and I love my Pork Belly Benedict. The pork belly was huge and delicious. Definitely coming back!!!

Had the Huevos Rancheros, best breakfast ever! Everything was great from the cornbread to the eggs.

I don't really see the hype, but the portion size was HUGE. You can't see it the way it's plated, but there's pork belly and the other half of the biscuit under the eggs.
The biscuit was really good - fluffy, soft, just a tad crispy on the edge. But I found the pork belly rather chewy (the skin barely cut), and the same with the surface of the potato.
The service is good, and the lineup wasn't too bad. They have menus outside for you to look at while you wait.

Nice food, generous portions (the french toast portion was huge!) . Staff was nice but it was a really long wait and very crowded - maybe not a good choice for a summer mid-morning breakfast unless you eat a bit of something first!

Be sure to get here early. There is always a line. My 5 year old and I split pancakes which we couldn't finish because the portions are huge. The food was excellent. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
A favourite in Vancouver - I go everytime I'm in town. I want to try other things but keep going back to the apple cinnamon waffles. Big portions.
The mugs also feel super satisfying to hold and I brought one home with me last time I visited.
There will be a line and this is a wait that will be worth it.
