I had passed by a few times and it always looked promising, so I finally decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. I ordered the hummus trio and the tabbouleh salad, but neither was particularly enjoyable — I didn’t even finish the salad. On top of that, the service felt inattentive, which added to the overall disappointing experience.

I like the food here and the service staff are always friendly, but incredibly incompetent. I’ve been here at least 20 times so I’ve had experience with all different servers… I’ve yet to find one who actually knows how to serve. They don’t greet you within a reasonable timeframe, they never come to quality check the food they serve, if you need something, you need to chase them them down or go up to the bar. It’s like they completely forget that food service requires you checking in on customers. I usually tip a solid 20% because I know serving is a hard job… But I’ve stopped doing that at this place because even when it’s slow, they just don’t give service. I hope a manager reads this and trains their servers on Greeting, quality checks, checking in, bringing the bill, etc. The servers will make a lot more money if they Improve on this. People don’t tip well for self service!

I'm glad I discovered this restaurant, it's a hidden gem! The food was amazing, particularly the hummus and the Falafel. The atmosphere was really nice, and the service was friendly and attentive. I'm definitely coming back!

Staff were friendly and set up a patio table for 5. I could tell they use good quality and fresh produce. I will definitely revisit here again

Came during Italian day, took 20 mins to get a beer off tap when it wasn’t busy. What we originally ordered (lager) wasn’t available, we decided on 2 pale ales. The other person at our table was waiting on an IPA. We only received the pale ales and had to go to the bar to remind them of the IPA.
Terrible service, seemed like the staff weren’t trained at all.
Had high hopes, was very disappointed

We ordered falafel and cauliflower. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is also good.
(The minor things was that the restaurant was not crowded but we had to wait some time to finally get our bill)

I really liked the sausage in the breakfast pizza, plus the amount of zaatar on the bread was very right IMO. The service was okay.

We've ordered from here many times, and the food is very good. Large portions, tasty. But we ate at the restaurant on a Friday night, and we couldn't help but wonder what the heck happened to their service. The hostess told us the place was fully reserved and she had nothing available. We asked if we could sit at the bar, so she seated us (weirdly, she didn't think of offering us the bar). Following the meal, we sat with dirty dishes all around us for about an hour, while two servers and the bartender chatted. Nobody cleared the dishes; no one offered us another glass of wine or dessert. Frustrated, we just got out of there. Bad, thoughtless service really can kill the mood.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jimjar Restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, making it the perfect place for any occasion—whether it’s a casual meal or a special celebration.

Jimjar Restaurant has easily become one of my favorite spots in town. If you’re looking for delicious food, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch service, I highly recommend giving Jimjar a try!

Went for brunch. Service was slow and rude. Food wasn't as described on the menu, arrived cold, and was pretty bland. This place used to be great, it's changed for the worse.
