I went there with my friend and we had lunch . The food was enjoyable but the service was not good. There were two waitresses and they were not kind or careful. They didn’t come to us to refill our water glasses or ask how it was going.

Phenomenal food. Wasn't sure if I would get full with everything but was pleasantly surprised that I did! Will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

The atmosphere is excellent. However, the food quality is inconsistent. I visited on two different days, and the dishes varied noticeably in taste, suggesting a possible change in chefs or preparation standards

Food is great, service was really nice and the cocktails were fab. Had two lovely Irish servers and bartender. They made a cocktail that was a special today created by another bartender Alicia (spelling may be wrong?). It was a spin on a cosmo and it was delicious!!

They got our reservation on the wrong day for someone’s birthday dinner.

It was very warm inside with no airflow or AC.

Food was great and delicious. But they got 3 of our orders wrong. Chyan P, gave us the first item for free. Eventually we just took whatever they served us and paid for it with 22% gratitude fee with bookings over 10 people. They even put the food items and bills mixed up.

I wouldn’t recommend others coming back here.

Unfortunately underwhelming. The service was inattentive and beyond slow. The food was lacking seasoning, among other things.

All of the food came out at different times with one member of our party not receiving their meal until the ENTIRE table was cleared. The servers basically seemed to purposefully ignore us, like they were hoping we wouldn’t ask? A bare minimum of communication would have gone a long way. We couldn’t even flag someone down for the bill. No one checked in. We are the kind of table that probably would have had a second round of drinks, had anyone deigned to ask.

Regarding the food; we had ordered the breakfast platter. I have NO idea why someone would serve eggs in a smoking hot skillet, by the way, the eggs were massively overcooked, like pucks of rubber. Also, I’m tired of being served things on thin board? It led to a mishap that I won’t detail due to precarious plating. But suffice to say; Give me a plate.

With the amount of money you are paying, you would think you would have more chicken. This is how many pieces they give you. The food was pushed around in the Uber’s car but the amount of chicken is a rip off. Change your portions jam jar! Otherwise go elsewhere people!!!

I really enjoyed the food at Jamjar. I always love Lebanese food and this place did not disappoint. I got the chicken platter and my partner got the seven spiced sausages. I paired my meal with the lentil stew as well and it really was so yummy. I was very pleased with my choice. Definitely would come again

Tried to stop in for a quick drink and bite to eat. Server was solo so I was fine to wait until he served a couple other parties that arrived later. The atmosphere and service has definitely declined since they changed spaces a while back. Disappointed but found another spot close by where the service was better!

Always a great time at this location! We get the makali whenever we come in, which is never a disappointment. Aaron, the lead bartender, was knowledgeable about the ingredients of not only the drinks he has curated, but the food as well. He took the time to make sure we were taken care of throughout our dining experience. Can’t wait to come back to eat again and to try more drinks off of their newer drink menu!

We returned in July 2025. The food was okay — the lentils were tasty, but the lamb sausages were tiny and overcooked. I thought I was ordering a full meal for $17, but it turned out to be more of a snack. The frie called “Lebanese poutine,” - why? they were just regular fries with a cream and green sauce, plus a three fries with some melted cheese.
Service was very slow. They only brought cutlery and plates after realizing we didn’t have any — once the food was already at the table.
Unfortunately, we may not return.

The food was delicious a party of flavour to enjoy. The service was friendly and it couldn't be more attentive. The place was too cold. People were not taking their jackets. I look forward for their new location in a few months.

I am of lebanese descent and have been longing to visit this place for quite a while, but am sad to say I do not think I will go back to this place, a huge disappointment

First I got there around 830pm and they said they were closed (and there were at least 4 tables with customers), I had to beg to be served. If they were closed why the door was open?

Then, the menu, oh my, very few options, very few and none of them attractive

We ordered the only thing that seemed attractive, beef kibbeh.

22 dollars for 4 tiny little ones and no side, nothing, 4 little kibbehs for 22 dollars!

Place and servers were nice, too bad food sucks

Unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. All the dishes tasted too salty. The portions were a little small but since it was salty it didn't matter. Service and atmosphere was nice if you want an easy going casual place to dine.
