Jang Mo Jib Korean Restaurant

Visited Vancouver and went to Jang Mo Jip! It's a must go to place to visit for us whenever we go. Their Korean fried chicken wings are fantastic! Also try their galbi (bbq short ribs) and mixed rice dish in a stone pot aka bibimbap! Tried a medley of other things as we went twice. Check them out!

I went and ate dumpling soup, but I was surprised when I ate it because there were only 4-5 dumplings... . Even after eating, I don’t feel full at all…

It was my first visit. I had pork bone soup for lunch, and it was warm and delicious. The servers were kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable!

The blonde girl's serive is so bad. She was very rude and unprofessional.
Also, she never smile.

It was over 1:00 am, when she needed to close their till, she came to me and my friend for closing their till.

However, she just gave me a card machine right away. She didn't say anything and she just brought our bill. I was so embarresed. What should I do? I just need to pay the bill right away? I do understand because I'm working as server, but she tried to say if you don't mind or can I get pay something like that first. I think she needs to improve her attitude and service skills.

Eventhough she never checked our table.
I don't think she knows customer service.

The place is really nice and staff friendly. It is very spacious in the inside and the tables are separated with wood providing privacy. My friend and me ordered Ghal Bee Thang together, it was very good and enough for us together. It was not very strong but the meet was very soft and buttery. The side dishes were good too we coul even get more after we asked. The staff is also very friendly. The food is a little pricy for a student if your order your own dish but it is very good. I would come back.

Their pork belly here was fantastic, but everything else I would avoid. The beef did not taste fresh at all and the texture was horrendous. The army stew was not great and I found that the seafood pancake was soggy, I would not recommend and would likely not come back. The service is not bad and the atmosphere was good.

Korean restaurant in Canada. It was a simply delicious restaurant. The employees are kind and can speak both English and Korean.

The customers were mostly Korean as well as other Asians.

Went for lunch. Lacks cleanliness and seems pretty bartered all in all.
Flies all over the place, hair in the food not very pleasant all in all. Service was friendly but many items seem sold out. Waitress was pretty clueless.
Would recommend or come back. There are better Korean places around!
