An interesting take on hot dogs with japanese flavors. The combinations are creative and tasty. However, many varieties come loaded with too much mayonnaise and heavy sauces, making them quite rich. I wish there was a lighter version available - perhaps with less mayo or more vegetable toppings for a fresher alternative.
Verdict: definitely worth trying for the experience, but could benefit from a less calorie-heavy option.

It’s a hot dog with Asian ingredients on it. Keep in mind that this is just a hot dog stand location. The cost has gone up but they’re doing their best.

4 different bunned items, and all were delicious! Loved the kurobuta with croquettes and the tonkastu with kewpie. Best hotdog buns Ever!! Great service, too!

Great hot dogs and perfect location for getting a quick bite to eat. Unique flavors.
Japadog truck nearly killed two cyclists this morning by maneuvering across designated cycle paths without looking, and without a spotter. We need zero tolerance for violence against cyclists in this city, and their food cart permit should be revoked.

The Japadog these days is very different from the one before, deteriorated so much and no one was buying when i was there for 15 minutes. The prices are super expensive at $13+ for a hotdog with a bun. The quality of the hotdog is very low, and seemed a few days old, not fresh, and the taste is just normal. After all, I was solicited to tip for 18-25%, seriously for foodstand kinda food? Will definitely not going back.

First time visiting Vancouver and trying Japadog. Spicy Cheese Terimayo had a unique and tasty flavour. A lot of the dogs are all pork. I prefer beef so my options were limited. Unfortunately, beef is pricier. But I would try again.
