I was very excited to try this during my trip to vancity. I love everything japanese so imagine was excitement lol I was quite underwhelmed tbh. It' tasted like a chicken hotdog with black sesemse and seaweed thrown on top. Lol my friend got the wagyu one and said it was nothing special, just tasted like a regular beef hotdog. Tht octopus balls were excellent tho.

Walked and walked and walked to find the place, that was nowhere to be found. If you're not to show up for customers, have the decency to update your info on the main search engines. Came to Vancouver planning to try you out. Forger it; Japadog won't get a penny from me. Bad customer experience.

Coming from Seattle, where we put grilled onions and cream cheese on our hot dogs, I was totally fine trying an eyebrow-raising hot dog. I probably wouldn't have same hot dog again but I'd probably be okay trying another item off the menu. It was good enough that maybe having it another time would warm me up to it! The staff were really nice and helpful. This location is simply a food truck parked on the sidewalk - it kinda looks like a semi-permanent location. The pricing was okay but a smidgen on the higher side for street food.
