Didn't realize these guys also did brunch- so glad we got to try it! The food is reasonably priced (especially compared to other brunch joints in Vancouver). Had the truffle mushroom eggs Benny, and oh my gooooosh... it was so delicious. The mushrooms were juicy and flavourful, the croffle chewy, and the hollandaise nice and buttery. The only thing I wasn't totally into was our soft serve latte float, which... wasn't soft serve. It was fine, it was just not soft serve ice cream- just regular, hard ice cream. Other than that, we walked away feeling very full from the generous portion size.

Very chic and tasty dishes. Cozy elegant atmosphere and very clean and neat. The price is not high and good portions of dishes. We had a great time celebrating birthday and having brunch. Kind staff and very good service.
Note that the restaurant now changed to a brunch restaurant and some of the pictures especially from the dishes are from before and no longer served.

I'm shocked to hear the comment from the owner on one of the patrons feedback. The owner told him he would be better off looking for another place to dine in the future?
Also mocked him about his thoughts on the orange slice.Basically went on a rant, instead of saying something like ;Sorry for the unsatisfactory experience you had,yes please come back and we will see how we can make your experience a more positive one.
He basically attacked him in a gentle, less obvious manner.Ill never go to this restaurant.
my 2 year old and myself really enjoy the dining experience today. Food and the portion was definitely great and kid dish was delicious. The service from both the server Ayane and the male chef was magnificent. Very friendly, made us felt at ease and very welcomed. Thank you!
Kid-friendliness: Have high chair and proper dish set and plate.

They close at 4pm but I tried to walk in three times at around 2:30, they told me they are closed because there are no guests. Excuse me? I feel like the waiters and kitchen just didn’t want to have one guest bc they are relaxing.
Loved it here

Kerrisdale restaurant masquerading as a Las Vegas nightclub. Food was OK - albeit not the healthiest fare. Here they serve Croffles, croffles and also croffles.
Jess brunch is where is at , I’ve been here on the weekends consistently and it never disappoints, service is excellent and if you’re lucky they make you a very cute coffee with coffee art and I find that adorable , I recommend the steak and eggs!

Jess Cafe offers excellent value for the price. The portions are generous and the quality is top-notch.
Jess’s Cafe is a great spot for a satisfying meal with a chic and modern ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The croffles are absolutely fresh and crispy, making them a delightful base for different dishes. The Truffle Benny was a standout, with perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise sauce, and the deep, earthy flavor of truffle coming through beautifully. It was a delicious and well-balanced dish.
For dessert, the Nutella Croffle was a pure indulgence. The combination of the creamy filling with the rich chocolate drizzle created a perfect harmony of textures and flavors, giving a truly pleasurable taste.
The only downside was the cappuccino, which was too milky and lacked the strong coffee flavor one would expect. However, overall, the food and service were excellent, making Jess’s Cafe a great place to visit for a delicious meal with a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. Would definitely return!
