Food and value 4.5 stars!!! Service 1 star!!! The comfort food is fresh, consistent, familiar home-style, and great value. The Frozen Section offers wonton, & other standard dim sum items that you can cash & carry home to steam! The server/cashier - I will call her Shirley/"SURLY" - because she could be less abrupt and abrasive! I will go back again for the food! Maybe "Surly" will have had a Snicker or a Bao by then to make her less hangry?
Looks like a favorite is the Cheung Fun (rice rolls) and beef in particular. Didn't want to wait so picked the minced pork kind 4CAD. It's just alright as the rice rolls are on the thicker side. In HK that would be borderline fail.
Thousand year old egg with pork porridge again passable. Porridge itself is more like rice soup.
Overall good enough for repeat visits.

Only came here because I was in the neighborhood and wanted to try it out. My son loves the BBQ buns here because the pricing is reasonable for him. For me, I prefer to pay the additional price for better bbq buns.
