Had a wonderful time at Jingle Bao enjoying the dim sum high tea! It was an excellent opportunity to try a variety of dim sum. They were delicious and the service was exceptional. Our server was very attentive and personable. She even gave us veggie spring rolls on the house as my friend does not like seafood and would not have enjoyed the shrimp spring rolls that came with the high tea.
Cute all-day dim sum spot. Known for their Xiao Long Bao...which were delicious. Loved the har gow and siu mai. Kids loved watching the baos being made fresh.
The staff was so busy with an unexpected crowd and did wonderful. Everyone was so kind. The food was delicious!!! Highly recommend.

The soup dumplings were outstanding as was the chicken chowmein in fact is was the best one I have had
There are many interpretations of the Xiao Long Bao soup dumpling (小笼包) out there, but this place feels one out of a million. From the moment we entered and noticed the Chinese aunty hand making the buns right in front of us, we knew we were in for a good time. While their execution of the traditional pork soup recipe is a point of pride, it’s the funky variations on the original that gives this experience the ‘wow’ factor.
Have you ever tried Xiao Long Bao with shrimp? Or perhaps with a spicy or garlic filling? How about in the spinach, mushroom truffle, or curry flavours? These are all the different tricks they got up their sleeve, and one of the best way to have it all is on the ‘magnificent seven’ sampling basket where there is one of each flavour.
But wait, there’s more! The aunty in the front impressed us when she was bagging up one of these ‘Supersize Xiao Long Bao’, that we knew we had to try it. The sheer volume of soup in that delicately thin pastry was a marvel to behold. The use of a straw to first suck the soup out was a bit of a novelty for us, and our friendly server did not hesitate to capture a shot of us piercing our big bun.
Right when we thought we tried all the unique stuff, our minds were blown again when we found out that they had Xiao Long Bao with a milk chocolate filling. Unlike its savoury cousins, the chocolate saucy goodness is held in a firmer mochi-style glutinous rice pastry. However, we would not have noticed that because the appearance is entirely consistent with every other Xiao Long Bao.
Whether or not you are an aficionado of Chinese dim sum, if you want to experience a meal that feels more like a trip to an amusement park, then this has got to be on your ‘to go’ list.

The mushroom truffle Xiao Long Bao is amazing! Order it. We also loved the truffle siu mai! The shrimp dumplings and steamed pork buns were good too.
For dessert, must order the Green tea sesame balls. You won’t be disappointed.
We enjoyed the meal and service.

The food wasn’t particularly impressive. The prices were reasonable, considering its location near the waterfront. However, the fried rice was the worst. It lacked flavor and the pork was small and dry. The baos were average, which is surprising given that they’re their signature dish. If you’re craving Chinese food, I recommend Vancouver Chinatown instead.

Great food, great service and amazing music and vibe. You’ll get lots of options for pork and beef and some vegetarian as well. If they could add some chucking dumplings/xlb, would be amazing

The xiao long bao was the main reason we chose to come here and it did NOT disappoint. The food was amazing and the ambience was cozy. From the moment you walk in you can see the chefs hand making each bao and the service was great. Will absolutely be back for more
