The ramen is excellent, being vegetarian I have now tried 2 of the 3 vegan ramen option and both have been fantastic.

It was an exceptional dinning experience. The service was flawless, and the food was expertly prepared and delicious. They elevate the ramen experience to a high standard.

Amazing broth but their pork is really fat and a bit stinky. Mostly bar stools so pretty good for 1 or 2 size quick dining.

Perfect for a cold winter day. The staff are exceptional, the food is amazing and the ambiance is welcoming. Also check out their Demon Slayer collaboration (see uploaded pic).

Dining at JINYA Ramen Bar – Vancouver Downtown was an experience that perfectly combines outstanding food with an atmosphere that feels modern, relaxed, and undeniably cool. From the moment I walked in, the downtown style stood out—dim lighting, sleek design, and a lively yet comfortable energy that makes you want to stay longer than planned.
I ordered the JINYA Tonkotsu Black, and it was simply an excellent ramen. The broth was rich, deep, and full of umami, with that slow-cooked pork flavor that coats your palate in the best possible way. The garlic oil added a bold, aromatic punch, while the noodles were perfectly cooked—firm, springy, and ideal for soaking up every bit of the broth. The pork was tender and flavorful, and every topping felt well-balanced and thoughtfully placed.
What really elevates the experience is the overall vibe. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the space felt buzzing without being overwhelming. On top of that, JINYA offers a great selection of Japanese beers, which pair perfectly with the ramen and enhance the entire meal.
JINYA Ramen Bar isn’t just about eating ramen; it’s about enjoying a full downtown dining experience. If you’re in Vancouver and looking for high-quality ramen in a stylish, laid-back setting with great drinks, this place is absolutely worth visiting.

Replace Chashu pork with 90% fatty pork belly without any notice. This is misleading from menu.
Not meet my expectation of consistency Japanese restaurant quality tradition. Won’t be back to this restaurant

They deleted my review on OpenTable, so I will leave a review here as well. My guest and I did not have a good experience. Despite booking a reservation and being told that we have 90 minutes to dine, we were rushed. Our server initially did not give us time to review the menu. He came to our table twice within 3 minutes to ask if we were ready to order after we were seated. I had to tell him to circle back in 5 or 10 minutes because we didn’t even get a chance to catch up. Deleting my initial review on OpenTable says a lot, so I don’t plan on coming back to this location and encourage others to stay away. No hospitality whatsoever, and I work higher up in the hospitality industry myself.

The broth is quite rich. The noodles are firm and bouncy. But the pork is almost all fat, almost to the point of being gross.

Cute place, bad service, ok food (stay away from Sara, the argumentative waiter; do NOT order pork chashu, as it's 90% fat)
I’ve eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. I absolutely adore the food. The service is always excellent.
But tonight they really went out of their way. I left and walked a few blocks away to have an employee chase after me and give me a sweater I left in the restaurant. That is deserving of an elusive 67th star!!🌟 They’re amazing!!

Unfortunately, my experience at this ramen restaurant did not meet expectations. The broth lacked depth and flavor, tasting mostly salty without any distinctive character. The chicken portion was very limited, consisting of only two small, thin slices.
Overall, the quality of the food does not justify the pricing. This was my first visit, and it will likely be my last.
On a positive note, the restaurant environment is pleasant and well maintained. However, for those seeking good-quality ramen, I would not recommend this place.
