mind-blowing taste of coffee provided here by the staff.

The construction next to them in the plaza has been brutal over the summer but went in today for the first time in ages and wow, it really seems to have gone down hill. Staff clearly didn’t care and the whole place felt uncared for. It’s way too expensive to be this relaxed about keeping customers.

Told the dishwasher was broken so couldn't get my sandwich to stay while looking at a large stack of clean plates. The staff is consistently rude and lazy. So different then other locations.

Nothing wrong with the food and beverage here. Spacious but no air conditioning inside on a summer day, and there’s noisy construction right outside.

It feels like Jj bean has slowly and steadily marched towards overpriced mediocrity.

The food is generally unpleasant (excluding the muffins). The wraps have become increasingly wet and are hugely unappetizing (i miss having salad provided with it especially considering the cost). The coffee also feels like it’s increasingly even more bitter and sour. The service is generally ok i guess. You get your food and drinks. That said, after a decade of coming here there has been a marked decline in the culture atmosphere (it is far less welcoming and isn’t very friendly). I guess I’m saying it’s polite but indifferent.

I think need to move on from my 2015 nostalgia and go to the other shops in the neighbourhood perhaps

A bit expensive, nice play to come once a week but almost always the worst music playing, makes for one of the most annoying places to try and relax and have a conversation. Very hit or miss to plan on inviting someone to go.

Great place for coffee and a muffin, but the WiFi never works. I think the router needs to be reset periodically.

I visited my daughter in Vancouver from Ontario. I went to JJ bean coffee roaste on Thursday (July3), and I had a cold brew iced coffee and an almond chocolate croissant. After a few hours I felt stomach sick and diarrhea. I think cold brew iced coffee may cause these symptoms because my daughter had a half of croissant I brought home but she didn’t have any symptoms. Today is Sunday, I still feel sick and weakness.

My only issue is that the hot sauce servings have gotten 70% smaller. The food is the vessel for the hot sauce. I’m not crazy.

I love the simple, nice vibe in this coffee shop. I ordered cappuccino for takeout, and it was good.

I’ve gone here two days in a row and I love JJ Bean. But this location the employees don’t acknowledge you with a smile, or say thank you. Basic customer service skills are needed here. Also, I get an iced latte with honey and always ask for it to be mixed in with the espresso to make sure the honey doesn’t clump at the bottom of the cold milk. Twice in a row they continue to give me an iced latte with a whole lot of honey stuck to the bottom. This is not hard to do as I use to work at JJ myself. (Finance district)

all in all, my experience at this location was not good.

Pictured is all the honey clumped at the bottom. Asked the guy to remake or help fix it. He told me to mix it myself. Very disappointing experience again.

A favourite hang out and meet-up spot on Cambie. In the summer they have their doors open and let the music in. Coffee is always amazing. They care so much about coffee that even their decaf tastes good! They recently started selling doughnuts as well.

I don't know what JJ Bean is doing, but they consistently make some of the worst coffee I've had from a cafe. I've never had a good coffee from them, it's either horribly bitter, or watery, or even worse... Both.

The location is nice, and staff are friendly, but the food and drink is dreadful. What's the point?
