Rude! I found the store keys in the washroom. The guy says “Oh”. Then tries to make fun of me for his co-worker, at my expense. No thanks, or even an offer to buy me a coffee.
Shitty attitude dude. Now go clean the washroom big shot.

I’m a huge JJ die hard fan so it’ll always get 5 stars from me. The JJ original roast beans make the best americano money can buy.

The construction next to them in the plaza has been brutal over the summer but went in today for the first time in ages and wow, it really seems to have gone down hill. Staff clearly didn’t care and the whole place felt uncared for. It’s way too expensive to be this relaxed about keeping customers.

Told the dishwasher was broken so couldn't get my sandwich to stay while looking at a large stack of clean plates. The staff is consistently rude and lazy. So different then other locations.

Nothing wrong with the food and beverage here. Spacious but no air conditioning inside on a summer day, and there’s noisy construction right outside.

It feels like Jj bean has slowly and steadily marched towards overpriced mediocrity.
The food is generally unpleasant (excluding the muffins). The wraps have become increasingly wet and are hugely unappetizing (i miss having salad provided with it especially considering the cost). The coffee also feels like it’s increasingly even more bitter and sour. The service is generally ok i guess. You get your food and drinks. That said, after a decade of coming here there has been a marked decline in the culture atmosphere (it is far less welcoming and isn’t very friendly). I guess I’m saying it’s polite but indifferent.
I think need to move on from my 2015 nostalgia and go to the other shops in the neighbourhood perhaps

A bit expensive, nice play to come once a week but almost always the worst music playing, makes for one of the most annoying places to try and relax and have a conversation. Very hit or miss to plan on inviting someone to go.

Great place for coffee and a muffin, but the WiFi never works. I think the router needs to be reset periodically.

I visited my daughter in Vancouver from Ontario. I went to JJ bean coffee roaste on Thursday (July3), and I had a cold brew iced coffee and an almond chocolate croissant. After a few hours I felt stomach sick and diarrhea. I think cold brew iced coffee may cause these symptoms because my daughter had a half of croissant I brought home but she didn’t have any symptoms. Today is Sunday, I still feel sick and weakness.

My only issue is that the hot sauce servings have gotten 70% smaller. The food is the vessel for the hot sauce. I’m not crazy.

Nice place. Great hot chocolate.
I love the simple, nice vibe in this coffee shop. I ordered cappuccino for takeout, and it was good.
