All good but the staff swept and mopped right under us twice and it was quite disruptive …

JJ is always solid; not my favorite coffee shop but quite good overall! I come here frequently because they have great hours, compared to a lot of coffee shops!

Good coffee and food options. Muffins are great. One star short as service is spotty; last week I stood for almost 10 minutes with three people ahead of me waiting for their orders while the barista yucked it up with her co-workers and took her sweet time. She'd get killed at Starbuck, though I'd rather go to JJs.

Had one of the best Americanos I've had in a very long time. Excellent! Drip coffee was ok. Flat white was ok. Great choice of products to add to your coffee. Milk, creme, soy, almond, oat, raw sugar, syrup & more. Apple fritter was not great. No gluten free baked goods. I will be returning for Americanos! Lots of seating inside and out. Street parking.

I went to a cafe between 3-5 p.m. on Monday, October 1st and ordered an iced latte. The cafe wasn‘t that busy. I got an ice latte and asked the barista for a straw, but she threw the straw at me. I was very angry and embarrassed.
She was in charge of a barista and was tying her hair that day, and she was an Asian.
I will never go to that cafe again.

A festival-like atmosphere in celebration of Car Free Day.. but not a night market atmosphere. key
It was nice to have a drink after looking around for a long time. I think the coffee tastes stronger than my Korean counterpart. Mocha/Epresso/Ah, the paper cups are different.

The BEST baked goods! I went to get gluten free for a friend at the lemonade bakery next door. They were closed. Thought I would get a mocha to go and ended up buying everything I needed for my perfect day. ?a box of sweets selection for my friends who have new twin girls; gf items for my gf friend; 2 apple fritters for my boys (my husband said it was perfect ?); a sandwich that was so huge I could only eat 1/3 so my husband got an extra treat; and a donut with a cafe mocha.
I had my appointment at UBC and spent an hour in the sunshine talking to a stranger - a patient who wheeled herself out to the sunshine. I didn’t know her but we had a lovely visit. Can you imagine being in hospital for 6 months? As i left the parking lot I drove up near to her; jumped out of my car and gave her my chocolate donut ?. She looked in the bag and was ecstatic!
I then went to see the twins. So wonderful passing the babies around as we took turns cutting pieces from each item in the box. It was a gorging fest- Passion fruit! Cinnamon bun! Coconut donut! A cinnamon something tower which was to die for! I forget the other 2 items. I am sure the babies could smell the deliciousness as we took turns eating the yummies.
The staff were so welcoming and wonderful the one gentleman opened the door for me and asked to assist me to my car. Perfect service is not dead in this place. I will return in November.
Sorry Lemonade Bakery ??.
Vegetarian options: Lots though I am not vegan. They have price cards in front of the items showing all types of food labels and restrictions.

Parking: It’s street pay parking. Look for an empty spot or go around the block. Easy. Nice location so walk and shop.

Breve latte. Most staff does it well but there’s this guy and this girl with two hair colors that does it beyond well. JJ is that neighbourhood coffee spot that’s your go to atmosphere

Cashier asked if I wanted hot sauce on sandwich. I said no get back to work and find it covered in hot sauce thanks wasting $12 on me on a over priced bagel ?
