I think this is the best JJ Bean branch we’ve visited so far in Vancouver. The coffee is consistently excellent, especially the single origin brews, and the cafe itself is warm and inviting, with clean bathrooms every time we’ve been. Most importantly, the staff we’ve met so far are genuinely kind and attentive. I was especially impressed to see them bring coffee and water to the table for customers who need extra assistance, such as those using walkers. Thoughtful service like that really stands out. Well done!

The latte and donuts are good here. Teas are terrible. WiFi is like using dial up internet so it’s impossible to work here. I don’t know if they do that on purpose but there’s no excuse for having such slow internet in 2025. I will visit other coffee shops from now on.

JJ Bean’s muffins are the best muffins I’ve ever had. My favorites are Chocolate Zucchini and Jalapeno & Cheddar. Their oatmeal ones are pretty good too!
[June 2025] This location recently started selling donuts, and honestly—I was so surprised! They’re very soft yet chewy. In my opinion, they’re better than Lucky’s Donuts in both the flavor and price wise. They are about $1 to $1.50 cheaper. I’m definitely heading to JJ from now on to satisfy my donut cravings! 🍩✨
I’ve tried: - Pistachio (4.5/5) - Razzle Dazzle (4/5) I was recommended this but the raspberry filling inside wasn’t to my liking but I can see why it’s popular! It’s filled with half raspberry and half custard and the custard was delicious!) - Lavender Earl Grey Donut (3.75/5) - Lemon Cream Donut (5/5) - Mango Coconut Donut (1/5) - not sure what this is. Can’t even taste either the mango or the coconut. - Apple Fritter (3.5/5) - Donut Bread Pudding (3.75/5) Donut + Pudding combo - an interesting one but personally didn’t really like as much because of the texture and the flavor - Chive & Cheddar Scone (5/5) - Blueberry Scone (4.5/5) - Maple Glazed Cranberry Scone (4/5) - Krispie Oatmeal Raisin Cookie (4.5/5) - Salted Caramel Crackle Cookie (4.5/5) - Chocolate Chunk Cookie (4/5) - Matcha Mac Cookie (5/5) One of their newest cookies and one of my favorites!!
