JJ: You need to change your coffee bags to better ones with a one way valve so people can store the beans properly in the bag. If you are charging 20 or 30 bucks a bag, the packaging should be much better. Look to your competition Agro Roasters just down the road. The coffee is better and the packaging is miles ahead of you.

So here's the thing , we went to 2 different JJ beans in one afternoon and found nothing in the way of small baked goods seems ridiculous, cheap and petty. Opened for 6 more hours and nothing to offer. Not cool. So what if you end up with 3 extra muffins at the end of the day.
I think the Neate family lives a pretty extravagant life.So change it up, especially on a warm sunny mid October day. Have some foresight.
And while im on my soap box.Throw some more cranberries in your cranberry, muffins , for crying out loud.Charge me twenty five cents more. I'm tired of cracking open my cranberry muffin to find four cranberries in there, pathetic.

Never order chai latter if you don’t want to end up in sugar coma. On the other hand, if you like that coffee and sugar induced sensation, go for it ;) their muffins and bakery are great. Not too sweet.

The harried, Powell St. location baristess banished me from the restroom claiming I'm "not a customer".After appreciatively purchasing many savoury breakfast burritos, delicious muffins, rich, piping hot Americanos and raving about JJ Bean's high quality to anyone who'd listen and spending hundreds of dollars and tipping generously at the Powell St.and 6th Ave locations over the years, I was somewhat dismayed and hurt. One particular busy, early morning after using the restroom to wash my hands, the lineup was quite long. Not wanting to be late for work, I had to exit. I'm speculating the baristess assumed I was not a "real" customer. Perhaps I'll take my hard earned dollars to Starbucks where they are taught not to insult and embarrass customers for using the restroom. There must be a reason they earn millions of dollars of revenue all over the world!,ya think?🤔 With all that said, she's one hard working barista Gal!😉

I truly love the coffee at all JJ Bean locations. Not only do the fragrance and taste of the coffee, pastries, and food stand out, but the atmosphere also makes me feel comfortable.

The entire experience of getting a coffee here is delightful. You feel your body craving caffeine, and you walk into this beautiful café. You are greeted by staff with warm smiles, surrounded by the antique-style interior design, and you see people enjoying their coffee happily. You place your order and wait for your coffee. Waiting becomes almost unbearable because of how much you anticipate that lovely coffee—whether it’s hot or iced, it doesn’t matter. When you finally receive your coffee, it’s almost too good to believe, so you trust your nose and taste buds to confirm it.

With this coffee in hand, you’re bound to have a happy day.

Cold brew was very tasty, flavourful so watch out if you're a baby. Iced American was good not kind blowing. Double chocolate brownie cookie was out of this world .

Nice atheistic and background music.

I’ve been buying coffee and beans from JJs for over 10 years now and over 100lb of beans in the last three years.

They provide great consistent quality. Their dark Railtown blend was my favourite for the longest time but I’m now all about their more complex Eastside blend. They also have a great revolving selection of single origin beans.

Recently I asked them if they would include an empty jute green coffee bag in my subscription order, without hesitation they sent this beautiful bag that I will transform into wall art.

JJ Bean is the best bang for your buck espresso/coffee in Vancouver. Stopped by the Powell location today, and was nicely surprised by the roasting operation you can view in until back.
My espresso was great, my wife's latte was delicious, the muffin was tasty, and my kids both enjoyed their cookie and croissant. JJ Bean will always be a stop for me whenever I visit Vancouver.
