Great classic breakfast diner vibes. Really nice servers (especially Heather) and great food. I got a Orange Pekoe tea and The Mess. Lots of food so definitely worth the price imo :)

My father and I ate at The Basic for the first time this morning. We were very impressed by the service and the food. Our waitress was wonderfully friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. We definitely have a new favorite breakfast location in Vancouver!

They have the exact hashbrowns that I like. You know the one that are odd pieces and browned to perfection. This was the an amazing breakfast. Cook the way a great dîner would do it, quick and service was excellent.
