My father and I ate at The Basic for the first time this morning. We were very impressed by the service and the food. Our waitress was wonderfully friendly and accommodating without being overbearing. We definitely have a new favorite breakfast location in Vancouver!

They have the exact hashbrowns that I like. You know the one that are odd pieces and browned to perfection. This was the an amazing breakfast. Cook the way a great dîner would do it, quick and service was excellent.

Service was amazing! We were looking for gluten free options and the server was very reassuring and knowledgeable of the menu! Would definitely come back for some good ol’ American breakfast :)
