Date night was a disappointment. I ordered my steak rare, but it came out basically raw and impossible to enjoy. Even though our meals arrived at the same time, the experience still felt off—one dish was finished long before the other because of the quality issue. Not what you expect for a nice night out.
Overall good. Nice welcome and good service. My steak frites was good. My wife's fish taco was so so. Chocolate cake dessert was excellent.
The truffle udon Carbonara is a must try! The service was great! Out servers was kind, friendly and very attentive.
our server was wonderful but the $76 steak I ordered and was really looking forward to was virtually inedible. It was so tough to chew that I must have only actually consumed about half of the steak and spat the rest out. really disappointing.
I met an out of town visitor for drinks in the late afternoon on a Tuesday. It was Happy Hour and the place was surprisingly busy. I arrived early for my reservation and was asked to wait, which I was happy to do, especially with a complementary glass of wine in hand. Once at the table, Susie, the waitress, was helpful in my selection of wine, and a snack to go with it. I chose the truffled fries, and I was glad I did: they were subtly different and tasty. My friend and enjoyed the wine, food and service but we did find the music volume was continually being ramped up while we were there, and, with the increasing hubbub of a pretty full house: it became difficult to converse comfortably. All in all, a good happy hour experience but I'm just as happy we didn't stay longer.
The evening was perfect. We had friends join us from Bellingham and we were in transit from Australia to Sun Peaks. Our waitstaff Danielle Chand was amazing. She was extremely knowledgable of both the food and beverage list. Please thank her for us. If ever we are back in Vancouver we will be eating in your restaurant again. Thanks Pete & Naomi....
The food was okay, but it didn't quite meet our expectations. The service was good, however, the food took a very long time to be served, much longer than we expected. I understand that the kitchen and servers may have been busy, but this is something that could be looked into. Even the dessert took a long time to arrive, about 10–15 minutes after we requested it, and we were almost ready to leave by then. This was supposed to be a family birthday celebration. While it was okay, we were not very happy with our overall experience. The waitress also seemed rushed and did not have the same warm and friendly tone anymore, which made it feel less welcoming, and they looked tired. However, we still gave a good tip to show our appreciation and hopefully help brighten their day. We may not return and might try other restaurants instead.
Happy Hour meet up with my friend. Had to wait for a bit as staffing geared up and a new section opened but reception kept us informed and happy. Quick service and while they checked on our table they didn't hover or make us feel rushed to leave which was lovely. Nice spot to reconnect with friends over a Bellini and some Japanese Gyozas! YUM!
Excellent vibe, Skye was great. A staple in the finance district. Better than cactus imo.

Skye was absolutely amazing. Took really good care of us and served us the whole time with a smile. 5 extra stars for her.

Our group of nine had a disappointing experience here. It took the staff longer to sort out our bill than it did for us to eat our food. Our waitress asked us three times what each of us ordered, then made us point out our dishes again—but still got it wrong. Another server came over to try to fix it, and we had to repeat everything once more. My pasta didn’t taste anything like it should have, and the chicken was bland. Overall, really poor organization and food quality for the price.

Havent had service this bad in a while. 3/4 dishes ee ordered came out ice cold, they had obviously been sitting for a while before they were brought out to us. When I informed the server she said she'd get the manager to come talk to us it took about 10mins before the manager made her way to us where she pretty much just said sorry and she'd replace the food (why couldn't the server just say this and then have our food replaced 10mins sooner?) Took a long time for the replacement food to come out, kind of expected a replacement order to be made with urgency since we'd been waiting to eat for a while now and getting very hungry. Nothing was complimentary on the bill despite our entire order being served ice cold. To top it off I had put on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday but no one seemed to acknowledge that, most restaurants usually bring a small dessert with a candle on top or something.
The restaurant as a rally nice overall appearance and seems like a nice place for dinner but its being managed by a people who dont really care about quality or service I guess
