The experience overall was mediocre. Due to previous reviews, I was expecting more. Food arrived quickly but overall quality and taste just okay, nothing special. Three tiny (size of palm) short rib tacos cost $25.00 and although tender contained a lot of fat on the very small portions of meat. The appetizer, gyoza was the best thing we ordered. My husband said his pasta tasted ‘pretty good.' The service was disappointing. There was no checkin in from the server until we had finished our dinner. The restaurant is in a great location and was walking distance to our hotel. Overall, not a memorable dining experience.

Each an everytime I visit Joey's at Bentall in Vancouver I am more than impressed than I was the previous time. From the moment I walk through the doors with friends of mine we are treated like special guests. It is very rare when the service is not beyond great and even more rare when the food is not beyond great. Joey's at Bentall has become my favorite restaurant in Vancouver. I recommend highly to not just my friends in Vancouver but to friends who visit from other parts of Canada and the world.

We went specifically for the tuna club and the Italian donuts which did not disappoint. So yummy. Super friendly service. A great ending to our weekend getaway. Can't wait to go back!

Ashley the manager came and asked us about the meal and took care of us as one of the steaks was not done as requested so she removed it from the bill

Came here a couple days before Christmas and had the worst experience. Service was horrible, we had to ask for water, side plates, and had to wait so long that the food was cold. They took 2 hrs to split our bill, and the excuse the manager gave was that she was “19 years old”, it was bizarre, and there was no ownership taken for the below average service we were provided. They didn’t even waive the automatic gratituity and ended up paying a $70 tip for a dining experience that gave me anxiety. I felt like I was being held hostage while waiting for my bill. Horrible experience, save yourself sad excuses for horrible service and go elsewhere.
7 maybe 7.5. Salmon sushi was great and must order. Worth trying tuna also next time. Hummus with crunchy pita was also great. Cod was also very good. Could go up to 7.5 easily

Went with some of my friends and two of us ordered two veggie burgers. Guess what they didn’t have it so someone came and apologized and we had to opt for a different meal. We waited probably 20-30 minutes for someone to even bring us water when we first sat down. We tried asking for help and one of the girls rudely told us to ask our waiter instead. It was probably the worst experience I had at any restaurant. First the service then the food and they still charged me for the food we didn’t even want which was not in any part of our fault. Never coming again.
