The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.

An all round great experience. Enjoyed our food, excellent menu, excellent service. Very handy location downtown.
Excellent food and service. Cameron was a delight and his recommendations were spot on! Only negative we don't have one in Florida ☺️
The whole experience was wonderful. The hostess was very friendly as was the entire wait staff. They made sure we were comfortable, gave my friend a blanket until they got the heater going. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good service, though seemed to have lots of staff. Food was good, drinks took a little while to arrive, overall a nice meal
Loved the place, it looks so nice and the food is delicious! Lava cake was the best I've had in a long long time. Highly recommended!
Way too many people for way too few servers resulted in poor service but not the server's fault.
We love Joey restaurants and I will preface by saying the manager was delightful and comped our bottle of wine. Our service was inadequate. She couldn't understand a substitution of vegetables for pasta, our sample tastes of wine we're taking so long that we just said to forget it and randomly picked a bottle of wine because we didn't want a lot left after dinner and would have liked to enjoy a glass while waiting. Didn't happen. The food and appetizer came at the same time and then ironically the wine samples showed up. Tana poke was excellent!
Great food, ambience and service for my friends birthday dinner! They greeted us when we arrived at the hostess stand with some celebratory champagne, sang happy birthday after dinner and delivered a delicious birthday plate with brownies and donuts! Thank you so much Frank and team for making the night extra special!
The Happy Hour menu has been drastically changed, was one of the reasons I liked coming here.

Booked in advance for our 10 year wedding anniversary celebration. Ordered some cocktails which took quite a while to come which was fine as it was quite busy. I got the steak and ravioli and my husband got the lobster spaghetti. Both meals were cold however we were very hungry so my husband ate his without saying something. It was tasty but cold. My steak was cold so I kindly let the server know to which she responded asking me if I wanted them to reheat it. I'm not really sure why she asked me that. It would've overcooked my steak more and made the prawns rubbery. I asked if it could be made fresh for that reason so she took my plate away and the other dish didn't come out for another 20 minutes. This time it was a better temperature but the steak wasn't done very well in my opinion. There was no offer of dessert, just the bill dropped off. We paid and left disappointed. Did not feel like a special anniversary dinner that we were so excited for. Will go somewhere else next time.
We had reserved a table but it was very busy we had to wait in line for around 10/15 mins. We were offered complementary glass of bubbles for the inconvenience. Food was good and service was great once we were seated!
Hmm, not the best experience overall. Drinks were good Food was so so Service seemed rushed with our server. Not friendly and clearly end of her shift. 😕
Had an excellent dinner and good service despite the restaurant being very crowded. Our server, Jasmine, was new to the job ( only 3 days) and did a great job- very personable. All the employees seemed very engaged.
Great service and good food. My steak was cooked perfectly and my boyfriend loved the lobster pasta. Our server was amazing. She asked if we were celebrating anything and I said we were celebrating half a year together. We were pleasantly surprised when she came back to our table after our meal and provided us with brownies on the house! Service was a 10/10. Would go again.
