Been here many times, it was one of the better Malaysian restaurants a few years ago, now the quality is only comparable to food court quality.
When I was here in March, we ordered five dishes. Everything were served within five minutes. Immediately you know the food was pre-cooked and dipped in sauce in order. As you would’ve guessed, all the dishes are luke-warm and the temp is 10 degrees too cold. The taste was just sauce overpowering the food.

John 3:16 Malaysian Delights offers delicious Malaysian food, including standout dishes like roti, beef rendang, and laksa. The beef rendang can be spicy, so it's recommended to request a milder version. The laksa broth has a curry flavor, which may be stronger than some expect. Roti canai is crispy and buttery, with the curry having the perfect flavor. The satay is crispy on the outside and tastes incredible with its sauce. The Mee Goreng and Char Kway Teow are also popular choices, reminding many of authentic Malaysian flavors. The Special Curry Rice features curry chicken and thick soya pork, with the pork melting in the mouth and the curry being well-spiced. The service is quick, with orders taken on iPads and delivered promptly. Staff are attentive and frequently disinfect tables with sanitizer after each group, showing their focus on cleanliness. Customers praise the generous portions, consistent quality, and reasonable prices. The restaurant has more comfortable seating and is less crowded, with paid parking nearby. Overall, it remains a great spot for quick, flavorful Malaysian meals that remind many of home.
