Tiny hole in the wall that serves great food. There are only a few tables inside and it gets filled fast. We walked in, but it seems they take reservation. Food came out not too long. Owner was very attentive. We were planning to take left over home, but we forgot our box. The staff ran outside to catch up with us and he caught up with us a block further, gave us the box! What a service! ❤️ We will be back!

Amazing authentic food, the owner is super nice and explains the menu. I went solo but I wish I could have tried more items.

The hand pulled noodles were very chewy and just spicy enough. The lamb cumin burger was warm and delicious.

Highly recommend!

Expensive and the food size is very small especially the handcrafted oily noodles. It is very small inside and bad ventilation. The boy is kept staring at our dish to take our once we completed. The feeling is not good. It seems like pushing us to complete and bill as fast as possible.

Small, lowkey, but charming little spot on Kingsway. Staff were very friendly and the food was superb! Got the 3 mix noodles and what a surprise - you may think you know what it will taste like but the actual dish far exceeded my expectations, I wish I didn't have to share it. Everything else we got was also great and prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Hole in the wall, family run, everything made in house, very low key. Owner is the sweetest lady - she is the one who makes the dumplings. pork hot chili oil noodle, fried dumpling, and cold steamed chili oil chicken are my favorite. ❤️‍🔥 Luc Approved❤️‍🔥

A small, welcoming restaurant serving up delicious (mostly spicy) northern Chinese dishes. The bread for the pork sandwich was nice and crispy and the pork inside was tender and juicy. It was delicious as was the beef noodle soup. Prices are very reasonable and the server was very friendly and quick.

Been there several times and the food had always tasted awesome! I can’t think about one single dish I don’t like. Special recommendation on the 3in1 noodles, love the multi layer flavors.
Try to go a bit earlier cuz there might be a line up.

Great Xian food in Vancouver :) the hand pulled noodles, dumplings, and chicken with chili oil sauce was so delicious. The noodles have a satisfyingly chewy texture and the dumplings were filled generously! The chili oil they have at the table is also delicious. Not much seating inside and inside is not the cleanest.

The food was actually quite delicious. It was not only some of the best Xi'an food I've ever had, but one of the best meals I've ever had period. In the middle of the meal, I texted my family telling them we had to come here in the future together. I also made plans to come back later this very week.

Unfortunately, the server (and owner?) complained that the tip I gave was too small. I find this to be completely unacceptable, given that tips are a bonus rather than something expected (especially in Canada where servers make minimum wage). It is a server’s job to serve customers and it is exceedingly entitled to complain. Any amount should be appreciated and I was shocked at being accosted for not giving what they considered to be an acceptable amount. I will not be returning which is a shame because as I said, the food is really quite good. However, I cannot support such an establishment. The owner should consider whether it is worth losing business from harassing customers about a tip. I would’ve been happy to return dozens of times with numerous people otherwise.

Loved this place! We had
- lamb and green pepper burg

All delightfully tasty and textured. Comfortable and attentive service. Will definitely come back next time I’m craving noodle.
