Love love love the atmosphere! Felt like I was in a movie. Great food for reasonable prices, great place to go out with a friend and talk because it’s also not too loud

One of the best restaurants in town, hands down! The burger and the house made sausages are to die for. One of the rare Vancouver establishments that carries real beer (on draught!). Thank you Joss for being the beacon of hope in a sea of poor culinary establishments in Vancouver.

I had the pleasure of dining at Joss Restaurant, and every dish was fantastic. The entire experience was delightful, but the standout moment was the pie I had for dessert. It was truly mesmerizing without a doubt, the best pie I’ve ever tasted! The owner’s dedication and the quality of the food really left a lasting impression. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Me Thinks Probably Vancouver’s Best Burger

Where: Joss Bistro 1190 West Cordova St. Vancouver, BC.

Must Try: The burger - we nicknamed it **The International.**

Why: Think about biting into juicy AAA+ Alberta sirloin beef topped with zesty chimichurri sauce, Gruyere cheese and a chewy ciabatta bun all toasted in an authentic Italian wood fired oven accompanied with a Mediterranean salad and house made German pickle.

To Drink: World class beers and wines.

My Bet: You will not be disappointed.

The best restaurant I’ve experienced in Vancouver.

We had the wood fired oven raclette pizza, mushroom pizza, and the salami pizza, All were absolutely outstanding. The burgers and the meatballs are incredible, full of flavour and very top quality.

We love JOSS restaurant and are looking forward to our next visit. It is very European restaurant with excellent imported draft beer and a well thought out wine list. Music was excellent too !

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time, and finally went in after noticing it was often closed. I brought my senior chihuahua in a stroller, planning to sit on the patio. When I entered to ask about seating, I was immediately and rudely told by the owner that dogs were not allowed inside — which of course most dog owners already know.

Once seated outside, I briefly placed my 5-pound chihuahua on my lap while adjusting the stroller. The owner saw this and reacted very harshly, insisting that my dog could not be anywhere near the furniture. I respectfully placed him back in the stroller.

Later, when he brought water to the table, I reached to pour some into a small foam dish for my dog. Instead of simply allowing me to do this, the owner rudely refused to let go of the glass, insisting he didn’t want it near my dog, then overfilled the dish himself to the point of almost spilling on both me and my dog. His attitude and demeanor throughout the visit were unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming.

I didn’t even finish my drink — I paid and left, never to return. If he is so against dogs, he should simply not allow them on the patio at all. The way I was treated was awful and completely unnecessary.
