I tried their Spaghetti & Meatballs, and their meatball sandwich, for the price it was very good. The Red Sauce of the Spaghetti & Meatballs, and the meatball sandwich, was very good, the dish and the sandwich themselves had a nice flavour, and the portions were fair for the price, price which is actually already convenient when compared to other Italian restaurants in Vancouver. The service was good and relatively fast considering how many people were both already dining inside the restaurant, and the people in line for placing an order. The atmosphere was interesting, the restaurant has personality, and even though there were different groups of people dining in the restaurant, and other people just waiting to place an order, the restaurant had enough seating for eating at the restaurant.

Love this place usually and been a customer for years but recently when I get sandwiches they hardly put anything inside. I got the spicy salami and I couldn’t even taste the olive spread so I opened up my sandwich and there was a slice and a half of a tomato, half a piece of mozzarella, a few lettuce and just a tiny blob olive spread. A good portion of salami, but I’d really love if they filled up the sandwich with the fixings as well

A rare find: great food, solid portions, and at a reasonable price. Nice Italian specialty store as well. Ask for the house made hot sauce.

I got the Alfredo Pasta. The pasta was a bit undercooked and has more chewiness that I wanted. The sauce was lovely but did not coat all the pasta properly. The bread was so herby and amazing.

I love Joe's!! They have my favourite Caesar salad in the city. The sandwiches are huge and generously filled. The large size can easily be split between two people. My only complaint is that I much prefer the bread that they offer at their sister restaurant, Mangia's. I would love an alternative to the ciabatta option. The pasta is delicious and holds up very well as a take-out option. Joe's is an excellent option for picking up lunch/dinner to go picnic at the beach nearby. Highly recommend the spicy salami!
